Barn vacation rentals in Loire Valley

Francoise communicated very clearly, the farm was easy to find and check-in, and we felt very comfortable there. Our toddlers really enjoyed meeting the cows!

We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s place, the home and grounds are beautiful with plenty to do to relax; swim, sunbathe, table tennis, pool! The teens loved it! Great area too with famous chateaux and many cities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and well maintained bedroom and living spaces Mark was a wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again, it’s become a family favourite.

We had a wonderful week of Easter with the family. With about twenty people including infants, the estate was equipped for a peaceful stay. The children took advantage of the heated pool, the space departs for soccer games. the adults from the barbecue, the Pétanque court. Around the quiet, flowery and green atmosphere for a peaceful rest. We were able to enjoy a short walk in the forest, with the kids on their pony. An experience to relive. Thanks to Benoit and the concierge for their availability.

Very nice welcome from Christine who, having been unable to make herself available to welcome us, had prepared the stove: all that was left was to light the match! The accommodation is clean, functional, warm and spacious: perfect for taking a break, whatever the weather. We also took advantage of our stay at Christine's to go to Puy du Fou, located 25 minutes from the accommodation. The exchanges with Christine are warm and jovial, thanks again for everything!

Charming house that is nicely decorated and offers a lot of space. You are completely on your own and can do many beautiful things to do from there. The view to the horses and across the fields is picturesque. Odette is very friendly and helpful, we felt completely at home.

This experience was magical. All aspects were flawless. We experienced a piece of heaven in this magnificent space. Beautiful, authentic with everything needed for a long stay. Beautifully restored house with everything you need for a stay. Very quiet area, small village, so for amenities you have to go for a while. We'll be happy to come back.

Pierre's cottage is a pretty house full of history…. The environment is quiet and relaxing. Pierre is very welcoming and very discreet. He told us the good places for lunch .

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. The accommodation is very nice, clean, it's great for children because there is all the necessary equipment on site and you quickly feel at home. Excellent breakfast as a bonus. Thank you Geneviève for hosting us.

When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice, well maintained and absolutely clean. There was really everything you need to feel completely comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally nice and helpful at all times. We were particularly impressed by the huge property and the fantastic location – a real secret tip to relax. We had a great week at Katia and Christophe's as a family with two children. Their cottage is spacious, clean, carefully furnished and tastefully decorated by Katia. The place is perfect for relaxing in peace and enjoying the pool, BBQ, ping-pong table and petanque court. The pool is the centerpiece of their cottage with the possibility of covering it with a very practical sliding anti-UV shelter during the few days of extreme heat or cold that we had this week. A big thank you to Katia and Christophe for their kindness, responsiveness and understanding, they are excellent hosts that we had the chance to get to know better this week and that we highly recommend. Special thanks to their son for the pro magic workshop he offered to the children, they loved it 🤩 and are still practicing to improve their tricks. We can't wait to go back. 😊

Marisa is a very friendly host! Her cottage is ideal for a week with the family: everything is there for the children, very clean and bedding of very good quality! This cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the many castles to visit. I would highly recommend it!

It is a wonderful stay, very nice, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of attention to detail. Very nice also with the donkeys. Hostess was very thoughtful! In the area we didn't find much to do, but for this property I would definitely come back.
