The barn building has a modern sauna with two showers and an Aito stove. There is a hot tub on the terrace (not in use when the ground or lake is frozen). Inside, there is a separate toilet and shower. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, stove and fridge-freezer. Washing machine in the basement. 600 m to the beach, where there is a swimming area and a rowboat.

The beach is natural sandy, shallow and child-friendly. From the apartment you can admire the magnificent lake landscape with its sunsets. There are also two tennis courts in the area for guests to use, note: bring your own rackets and balls. Swings for children on the beach. You have two adult bicycles and a rowboat.

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

You can also enjoy the treasures of the pure nature by fishing or picking berries and mushrooms. A grilling place with a gas grill and electric smoker included.

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.

A warm and cozy cottage in Himokas

Come and relax in a peaceful and cozy cottage with family, friends or even a small work group. The cottage is in a quiet location, but still close to the action in Himos. The nearest ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the resort is about 6 km away. On weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 m away, so you can easily go for a morning swim. There is plenty to do all year round!

Villa Salmea is rented in Jämsän Jokisuu with views of Lake Päijänne. Quiet location. Sleeps 10 people. The property has all the basic amenities in addition to a sauna, hot tub, large covered terrace, drying cabinet, wine cabinet, comprehensive dishes and a gas grill. Distance to Himos 10 km and distance to the lake 300 meters. The reservation includes linen, towels and the use of a hot tub at no extra charge. Ask about bringing a pet separately and describe the pet.
