If you want to go back to basic, have an open mind and don't need perfection, then relax and enjoy our self-made garden house! We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The (20 square m.) little house is simple, but under the care of a big Douglas Pine tree and with enough basic elements in kitchen, house and own private garden you can feel relaxed safe and happy! 26 km from Amsterdam 24 km Utrecht 5,6 km Hilversum 200m from nature!

We’ve recently constructed this brand new family house with all convenient features you are looking for during your holiday. It’s a stand-alone house with all facilities provided we thought you would love. Everything is well thought of with the most convenient features. Grab the canoes and go out to explore the Loosdrechtse lakes. As a father of two teenagers I exactly know how to make my family happy!

In the Garden

Looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of privacy? Just outside Utrecht, you will find Bed and Breakfast Au Jardin, where you can enjoy and relax. The guesthouse is at the back of our deep garden. You have your own entrance at the rear of the building. You can also park there. At the front, you can relax on the terrace. The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

Tienhoven is a lovely quiet village in nature

The Polderschuur is an independent house for up to 2 people, with all amenities you could wish for. On the ground floor you enter the cozy living room with kitchen. The bright, stylishly furnished living room is a wonderful place to spend time. Relax on the big couch with a good book or watch a movie or your favorite program on the TV with excellent sound system and radio. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, combination microwave, pressure cooker and Nespresso machine.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

On the outskirts of the village of Vleuten, next to the Hamtoren and within walking distance of De Haar Castle, you will find B&B Hamzicht. The B&B is located in an attractive location, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Haarzuilens. Where you can enjoy hiking and biking. Located 5 minutes' drive from Vleuten station. From there, you can reach the city center of Utrecht in ten minutes by train. In the immediate vicinity, there are several restaurants.

It is a quiet street next to the vibrant 'Lombok' area. This makes it the ideal place to stay and discover Utrecht by foot. We're sure you'll enjoy Utrecht as much as we do! Amsterdam can easily visit by train. This only takes you a 10 min walk and 25min train to Amsterdam Central station !

A quiet, stylish studio located in Utrecht with a free parking place. The studio is built above a recently renovated old barn and is located in the garden of a monumental city farm. The studio is entirely for the tenant and is separate from our family house. The studio is accessible from the garden and has its own entrance with a staircase to the first floor. The garden has space to park 1 car for free during your stay.

Historical house on river Vecht

November 20th - April 1st 2026: jacuzzi in the garden (4 people, additional fee requested). Unique Teahouse directly on the historical river, 'de Vecht'. Free parking. Utrecht and Amsterdam can easily be reached by car or public transport. You can also reach us by boat, berths available onsite. Guesthouse on estate on the Vecht

Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located on the grounds of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrechtse lakes, where our cows, mostly traditional Dutch black and white cows, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
