Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mackenzie District

Very new and comfortable beautiful home. A very easy walk into town for excellent Indian food and ice cream!! Views of the mountains and a lovely lake nearby. We had a great stay.

Surrounded by amazing views with great star-gazing and sunrises over Timaru. Jillian was very responsive and accommodating when some trip details happened to change. Much appreciated and would happily stay again

This is the best Airbnb that I ever had before, it’s really worth to stay here, it surprised us a lot by all the little decorations m, everything is stunning, I want to stay again for sure, it’s more than perfect! Thanks Steve and Sally.

Great house, great location, great host.

The place was clean and inviting. I had travelled with a toddler and a pregnant wife and we had a really good time. The unexpected heavy snow threw few challenges but the house had enough amenities to keep you warm and Alex was very protective to lend a helping hand to ensure we had a smooth stay. Highly recommend this place and we surely would visit back in a few years time ! Thanks

Zelda's place in Twizel was an excellent place for us to stay during our family trip to South Island, New Zealand. The house had all amenities as described and felt very homely. The kitchen was very well equipped and all the items in the kitchen were clean. Zelda was very kind in allowing us to drop off our luggage and perishable food items at the house prior to the check in time so we could do our activities for the day without having to haul out belongings around. Highly recommend Zelda, she is a warm and wonderful host; there is also a very cute lab puppy we got to meet.

Big house to accomodate all. Easy to find and a good walking distance in to town. Host was friendly and explained everything well. Would stay here again ☺️

We enjoyed our stay at Teresa's place! We were only there for one night but it had a lovely homely feel and plenty of space for us with 3 big bedrooms and a confusable lounge and full size kitchen with everything we needed. It's very close to the main Street and so it's easy to walk to the supermarket and other shops. Thank you for turning on the heat pump before we arrived, it was nice and warm! I would recommend to anyone visiting or just on their way through Fairlie.

Nice spot close to town but quiet and secluded. If you are going to stay there the google maps will take you up the wrong driveway, it will be right after the speed bump heading north. She had it marked well, google is just off a few driveways.

Our family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights and we wished we had booked for longer! It was one of our fav places to stay at on our whole trip - stunning views, comfortable rooms, super easy check in and out, clean, quiet … and one of the most well equipped kitchens for cooking anything imaginable (they even have a rice cooker and a Korean BBQ pan)! On a clear night you can go to the back of the house and see the Milky Way! Highly recommend and would come back again!

A fabulous home and each room having a bathroom was a real bonus. Very easy instructions for our stay, the home was very clean and a handy location to the shops, restaurants and lake. Highly recommend

Amazing home! Easy stroll into the small town to Tekapo and plenty of activities to do.
