it´s a beautiful house, with lakeviews! It is within walking distance to town. The house is so big, much bigger than how you feel in the photos, and so well designed that when you light the fireplace, it heats up every room in the house. We didn´t feel cold once. The beds had heaters too, very nice. I strongly recommend.

This was our first holiday with our dog who is 15 months old. The house is totally set up for dogs and humans alike. Daniel was great to deal with and made us feel at home from the beginning. You can feel this classic holiday home is loved by its Owners and we appreciated that they shared their holiday home with us. Well equipped, great outlook and close to amenities. Would come here again as it worked so well and we felt so welcome. The fire is awesome on a cold day/night.

We've been there for one day, for a nice barbeque with friends and a hot-tub session. The apartment was really clean and we felt comfortable. Chris and Julie are friendly and courteous. We recommend this accommodation!

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was immaculately clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Perfect location with epic views across to Mt Hutt. Would definitely book again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Stunning views Just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Stunning views and a cozy fire. Everything you need, great friendly hosts that leave treats, and also very gracious allowing our Humphrey the Labrador come and stay too, who adored being so close to the beach. Second time we’ve stayed here while visiting Hanmer with family, and another great place to stay. Very close to downtown and the water park. Only shortfall is dishes, glasses and cups are very limited, so you’ll need to hand wash before you come close to filling the dishwasher. Hand to believe they don’t stock more than six of each item.

Maree hosts a fantastic, beautiful, comfortable renovated villa home in a superb location that remains private and serene. She was a great host and I could not recommend staying here highly enough.

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

Lovely house in a great position to walk everywhere and enjoy everything Hanmer Springs has to offer. It had a bit less outdoor space than we were expecting but this didn’t stop us from enjoying a BBQ! The kitchen is very well equipped and it’s a lovely sociable space. The beds were huge and bathrooms spotless. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was the best place we stayed at during our trip. I wish we could’ve stayed longer at this cottage as it is absolutely gorgeous! The view from the front porch is incredible and the cottage is private and quiet. The host had the log fire roaring when we arrived. Wonderful.
