Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Magnetic Island

Had a lovely stay in the polynesian-cabana at Marguerites. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the private deck around. Whilst this place has a modest kitchen set up, we had everything we needed. Marguerites advice to use a phone torch when arriving late was very helpful to locate our accom. Would definitely return.

Very short stay on Magnetic Island. Easy 15 minute flat walk from the ferry wharf. Clean and simple accommodation.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. With 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. We used all of the facilities, including the pool, gym and BBQ area. The location on the Strand was just what we wanted, with short walks to the Rockpool or the waterpark. Also very close to the local Coles supermarket so we could buy groceries to prepare our own meals. 2 car parking spots in the secure parking area were allocated to our unit, which was handy as we drove up in 2 cars.

Great stay. Extremely great and responsive hosts. I was very greatful for it being pet friendly. Lovely pool and outdoor area with bbq. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Townsville. Close to shopping centre and short drive to the strand.

Robyn & Tony were very friendly hosts. Despite living upstairs we felt we had privacy & no noise. The apartment had everything you needed for a longer term stay. The kitchen was well equipped, although on windy days the outside hob burner took a while to boil. The use of the BBQ helped speed up cooking & it was handy to have the wipes provided. The apartment was clean & well organised. No curtain in the bedroom was a bit of an issue for me as the sun rises from 6am. So you’d need an eye mask. There are a lot of apartment rules to follow more so than any other place we’ve stayed at, but it was not too intrusive. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would 100% recommend staying here.

I stayed for approximately a week here whilst in Townsville for medical appointments. The unit is as described, clean, located in a central easy location and has all basic amenities needed. I spent a considerable amount of time in the bnb recovering and air con works well and it is comfortable. As it’s located close to The Stand it’s only a short walk or drive to pharmacy, supermarket and cafes/restaurants. I would stay here again.

Before our stay Fran was fantastic with all my questions. Not being to Townsville before we had no idea about location etc. For us it was in the perfect spot. We were out everyday but it was a great base and the pool area was great to relax in every night after a big day. The unit itself was great, had everything we needed and was comfortable for our family of 4. We would book again if we were ever back in Townsville. Thankyou Fran for making our stay in Townsville amazing and easy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and comfortable. It us A great location with a bus stop just outside. Skye was very quick to respond. Would stay again.
