After 5 minutes of walking through the forest, you will come across Kjerkstien/pilgrimdleden and can walk along it into the countryside or take a canoe trip on the lake. A short bike ride away is Foldsjøen with great swimming opportunities. Storfossen with hiking trails is in walking distance.
