Family-friendly vacation rentals in Manatí

We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful house. The place is perfect for families: we did barbecue, fish, use the kayak available on the property and even prepare s'mores. There are many games and activities, the kids had a lot of fun! Definitely a place we want to go back to. Thank you Pedro!

The apartment was as-described and well-built. You can tell that the design and layout was carefully considered and the location is very convenient. We did not rent a car and were able to easily walk to stores, restaurants, the beach, etc. The pool and outdoor area are very nicely laid out and kept clean as well.

I booked this property at the last minute, and I am so glad that I did. I was traveling with a group, and we the villa was perfect. The interior space was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful vacation, and the amenities of the property gave us plenty of space to enjoy time together, outside. The villa is located close to the beach (5-10 minute walk) and close to restaurants, convenience stores, bars, the grocery store, etc. The area is safe, and peaceful, and there is a reception/admin onsite during the day on the weekdays. Dorado is about an hour from San Juan. We didn't have a rental car, but we made a few trips via Uber to explore San Juan and used private transportation to visit El Yunque. The rules and expectations of the property were reasonable and made our stay easy. I will definitely book this property again, for a visit to the area in the future. Thank you, Sammy!

This place is a gem if you are in the mood for being a beach bum or to do a family reunion. Plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped, clean, airy and across the street from the beach. Lots of space to relax in a very secure neighborhood. My little happy place in PR and you get great bank for your buck!

What a great find! Right on the most beautiful beach. Walk to a super cute coffee shop, a bakery, and a few local restaurants. Hosts were very responsive. The Poza del Obispo is a 5 minute walk down the beach as well. AC cranked. Great shady spot to chill right on the beach. First morning, saw a sea turtle swimming along with us.

Everything was exactly as listed. Luis was very helpful always. Recommend!

This place was perfect. It’s in a private community so you can feel safe walking around. The space we had was super comfortable. The outside shower came in handy when coming home full of sand. The restaurants nearby are all great.

The view was magical! Sleeping in the tent was so peaceful with only the rainforest sounds. The hike to the creek is sooooo worth it. The creek is private and has lots of small waterfalls. You can explore quite a ways. I absolutely loved staying here and wish I stayed longer. Great place for yoga, meditation, reconnecting. Also, driving around is kind of crazy so I opted for the dinner 2x one of the locals makes and it was very good.

We were very warmly welcomed by Grisel and Pancho. The apartment has a large terrace with magnificent views of the mountains and surrounding nature. The place is very quiet, lulled only by the sound of the animals. A true slice of heaven! Again, thank you for your hospitality. Exactly follow the detailed explanations given to get to the house.

It's a fabulous spot! We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beach along with the chairs, sand toys and wagon that was provided. He really does provide everything that is needed to enjoy your stay. We took a short drive to the springs in Vega Baja and it was amazing. We really enjoyed our time in this location. Oh linens and bedding were super comfortable. Angelique’s place was a dream! We arrived at night to the melodic sounds of the coquis. The view in the morning was indescribably breathtaking. It felt like we were on top of the world. The photos do it no justice, truly. The hike to the river was beautiful and slightly challenging. In some spots it was slippery or had loose rocks. Be sure to wear hiking shoes and that each step is firmly planted. It was easy to follow though due to how well it was marked. I fell once, but I always fall 😂😂. The bruising was completely worth it to swim in such a pristine and private river and swimming holes. The house is perfect for that authentic experience of living in the montes. Just ensure you know what you’re getting into. Take everything you need before you get there as it’s a ghost town (even up to 40 mins away) after 7 pm, and most places aren’t even open until Saturday. The privacy and seclusion that allowed us to unplug and just be present. 10/10 would recommend and come again.

Our stay was truly restful amongst the sweet sounds of the coqui frogs. We slept well on the comfortable bed. Easy to find with the precise location the host provided. Very responsive when we called upon arrival to access the gate securing the property.

Great experience and very peaceful. The only suggestion i will have to give is to have a better mattress it was very hard. But overall beautiful place and very attentive host.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in dorado! The home was beautiful and everything me and my family needed for our stay! A wonderful walkable beach close by and not to mention some really great food places near by as well. They supply you with all the things you need which was very nice! Will definitely recommend booking!

Perfect spot for a small family. Cool beach with amazing rock formations. Hosts provided great recommendations for food/ shopping. Host was very responsive when we had a minor issue getting into house. We’ll be back!

We had such an amazing time at the place and felt very comfortable. The views are outstanding. Is nice and chilly in the mornings. The space is super spacious. We did the fire at the glamping area and it was like in a movie. Sooo beautiful and peaceful. There was frequent rain and the roads to the river stream were challenging. We took the “ easiest road” to go there that is the one going by car and then walk a little bit. Nonetheless to be honest those roads are not for people who have limitations to walk. But if you dare to do it, the experience is priceless 🤩🤩! . We are immensely grateful to Luis. He was super helpful, reachable and guided us through to arrive safely and directly to the river.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 We aim to repeat it again soon ♥️😍🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤗

Nereida's place was as advertised and she was very responsive to our questions. Her place is in a very quiet, gated, condo association. It has direct access to two wonderful beaches. We used them both. The condo was well equipped for our family of five (two parents and three adult children). It was very clean. We found it all very peaceful and relaxing. When we wanted excitement, we could easily drive to it. The grocery store, pharmacy, and gas station were just outside the complex, very convenient. Nereida sent very detailed instructions on how to find her place, which is very helpful as we have found navigation in PR generally difficult with the lack of signage and differing road names. I'd recommend that you learn to input the GPS coordinates into your smartphone, which will make navigation much easier. We would absolutely stay here again.

We felt the condo was in a great location close to the large pool and within walking distance to a stunning beach. Check in and check out were seamless. Alma returned answers to our questions quite quickly. We loved Puerto Rico and the Lakeside condos were fantastic.

We had a very pleasant stay and Rosario is an amazing host. She did everything to make us feel welcome and also tried to find a solution for the island-wide electricity blackout.

The space inside the home was larger than expected. The kitchen had plenty of silverware and dishes for the amount of people it slept. The outdoor space was comfortable with plenty of shade. The kids really enjoyed the pool.
