Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.

Stay in Whangarei

This is a beautiful brand new 4 bedroom house in the heart of Whangarei on its own fully fenced section. Extremely private and designed and furnished with you in mind. Decorated with local art work and luxurious furniture and appliances. We are locals and want you to have a great time while you are here!
