Had a lovely time at Moullen’s place reconnecting with my family. A quiet and peaceful place. Lovely house. Mr Thembani is an asset, not only was he very friendly and accommodating, he also cooked a lovely dinner for us for a very reasonable amount per plate, all we provided were the ingredients. It was great because we did not bother with the cooking after a long day of activities and sightseeing. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely place to relax n chill out, this is a good place to book. Would have loved to stay for longer but our time was limited .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem just outside the city, and it was the perfect weekend escape. Surrounded by nature, the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything needed for a hassle-free getaway. The setting was absolutely beautiful—waking up to fresh air, birdsong, and stunning natural views was a refreshing change from city life. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee or taking in the serene surroundings, every moment felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and recharge without traveling too far, I highly recommend this BnB. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Safe to say that this place is an absolute gem of place to stay and has made it to the top of my list of homes to stay in connemara. From the comfortable beds with heated blankets and a fireplace in the main bedroom, the luxurious wood-fired outdoor hot tub, and heated floors in the bathrooms (game changer), and large entertaining area, this place is well worth the money. The house is mere steps from the middle dam where there are beautiful hikes around the dam, 2 x fly fishing licenses that come included (just bring own rods) and 2 boats. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Chipo the caretaker was very helpful, cleaning up, making fires indoors and outdoors for the hot tub every day, she made our stay very easy. We will bring friends or family next time for sure!

I have stayed at Hildah 's place several times, the checkin experience is seamless and welcoming and I always feel at home. Its super clean, with a relaxed armosphere and a very friendly couple that are so helpful, warm and kind. I highly recommend Hilda 's place and will be back again soon!
