Lovely apartment in beautiful Maribo.

This cozy apartment is located in the heart of Maribo, 2 minutes from the city square with café and market square every Wednesday and Saturday. The beautiful Cathedral and Nørresø are just a 5-minute walk from here through the old town. The apartment is part of our house, where we live, a family of 4 and 2 cats. However, there is a private entrance and it is separate. If you want to see the exciting Knutenborg Safari Park, it is only 10 minutes by car. A natural gem, with peace, quiet and nature. 5 km from the highway - 3 km from Sakskøbing. The house is a completely renovated thatched half-timbered house from 1824 with all modern amenities. New bathroom and toilet, kitchen, underfloor heating and two lovely bedrooms. The house overlooks the fjord, field and forest on a large natural plot including herb and sensory garden. The old barn building, with large glass sections, is directly adjacent to the herb garden. The building has been converted into a studio with room for 6 dining guests.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.
