Nice cottage near Vänern & Sjötorp!

With proximity to Vänern there is possibility to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest cottage for tot 8 people! Bicycle path connects this idyll with nice beaches only 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp / Göta Kanal you can reach by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 min). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop at road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

The service residence at Storön Gården

On Storön you get to experience the tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. The big island is a car-free island with no land connection. Here is Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there is nice ice for cross-country skating. The service residence is located on a farm and every day there is the possibility to come along and feed the animals.

Hiking trails and bike trails directly nearby, beautiful nature and forest with lots of sights and culture nearby. 2.5 km to the lake. 2 km to the nearest Landhandel. Approx. 1.5 km to the view tower. Tiled stove and iron stove, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher , bathroom with shower, washing machine. EV charging available. Biking distance to the harbor nook Laxhall, swimming and ferry with day trips over to wonderfully beautiful Brommö. You live in a cottage with a cool bedroom and an attached patio with barbecue. In the bedroom there is room for 2 people in a 140 cm bed. As guests, you have your own grill, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, microwave, WC and 2 bicycles available. Private parking can be found marked next to the plot's garage.

Beautiful cottage in quiet and peaceful location but still close to so much experiences of all kinds. Close to Lake Viken for swimming and fishing or why not take a bike ride along Göta Kanal. In the nearby area there is Billingen with silver falls, Tiveden National Park, Lake Vänern's fantastic beaches and archipelago. The house has a welcome entrance, Bedrooms with 4 beds, living room and a large rustic kitchen. Unfurnished wind for larger groups.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bike. Göta Canal flows through both communities where there are also cafes, grocery store, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures you can also see the beautiful sea buckthorn which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cottage for hunters, outdoor lovers or for the roads passing by. There are also bicycles for hire.

There are 3 buildings, the main house, a guest house and the barn. All around is forest, there is a fence towards the street. The town of Sjötorp is very close, at the campsite there are 2 beautiful bays. The house is located on a sunny clearing. With some luck you can watch foxes, moose and deer. This is a simple old typical cottage. At the campsite Askevik we have a kayak for one person. It can be rented for 250 sec/ half day

Äppelgården Holiday Home is a small cosy house, situated between the outside of the small village Ullervad and a forest. The river Tidan flows at 200mtr. from the house. The house is suitable for 6 adults (1 double bed is in the guesthouse) or 4 adults and 2 children. The house is available only on a weekly basis. Mariestad area offers a lot of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and interesting places to visit.

Wooden house from early 20’th century. Located on its own and without close neighbours. Spacious garden with direct forest access. A large barn is part of the housing and the veranda is ideal for sunsets. 5 km to lake Vänern and a beach, 12 km to Mariestad. Smoking is not allowed. Torp från 1900-talets början i mycket lugn omgivning. Stora ytor och nära till naturen.
