Go down to Vänern's edge at night and enjoy the sunset in the water horizon. Final cleaning is done by the guest, the landlord is not responsible for final cleaning.

On Storön you get to experience the tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. The big island is a car-free island with no land connection. Here is Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there is nice ice for cross-country skating. The service residence is located on a farm and every day there is the possibility to come along and feed the animals.

Our cottage is located in Sundsören right by Torsöbron. It is about 15 km into Mariestad. Both Sundsören and Torsö are very scenic areas with beautiful forests, country roads and of course water everywhere! In the vicinity there is a shop, restaurant, camping and beach. We have a small patio and a large partly glazed terrace that is lovely to sit on during the evenings. There are two bedrooms of which one has a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. In the living room there are 2 day beds of 80 cm.

In this newly renovated house you live in the middle of nature, with only deer and fenced cows as neighbors. The surroundings are beautiful with a view of forest and oak grove, about a hundred meters away you have your "own" beach to swim from.
