“We just loved our stay and Pip was a fantastic, welcoming host. The beautiful little cabin is completely charming and the little personal touches are wonderful. The outside space is simply stunning and so generous, with so many options and beautifully designed spaces, just perfect to sit in the evening with lights dotted in the trees and a fire pit to keep you cosy. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will definitely return. Mike and Michele”

“This is an excellent place for a self-contained, comfortable stay in a cleverly converted double garage which means the accommodation was separate from the house. The layout, furnishings and fitments are all of a good standard. The bathroom with its hot and powerful shower is very pleasant, the kitchen area is neat, and the bed is very comfortable. Nice touches are the packs of cereal and supplies of tea and coffee that were provided. It was nice to have good quality wi-fi access. Jo, the hostess, is proactive in offering help and always responded to me very promptly to answer any questions I raised, giving some excellent advice on places to eat. The Studio is located within walking distance of the town centre, crossing through a pleasant park, although in parts it does involve going up and down hills.”
If you fancy something exclusively secluded situated in a woodland setting, this is the place to stay. The Old Bread Lorry hence the name used to deliver bread in the North East. It is now permanently sited in the forest and plumbed into mains and electric. It has its own private area surrounded by fences and plants. This double bedroom with an en-suite shower room built to a high standard, it is different from anything else you could imagine.
“Wow. What a place. A private little gem in the middle of lovely woodland. Hosts were quick to respond and welcoming and Tony is obviously very passionate about the space they have created and rightly so. Lovely accommodation, clean, very comfy bed. Amazing hot tub and we felt so relaxed after our stay. Hosts very respectful of social distancing and reassuring providing hand sanitizer and you could tell the hot tub had been thoroughly cleaned too. Cannot wait to come back & would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of coming here”
