The Angler's Retreat

Captain Claude Brown built the Angler's Retreat cabin to house his fishing party guests. Now thoughtfully renovated, it can accommodate small groups in the sleepy fishing village of Marshallberg, NC. The large main bedroom has a queen bed, designated workplace, and bathroom with a soaking tub—a small bedroom houses twin bunk beds and a stacked washer/dryer. Enjoy an open kitchen/dining area and comfortable living room. The location is great for fishing, watersports, biking, and dog walking.

Wild Rose Cottage, Gardens, & Stained Glass Studio

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

Otway Burn's Snap Dragon Cottage

A studio apartment located 10 miles east of downtown Beaufort and 7 miles from Harkers Island. Stroll streets steeped in maritime history, quaint shops and great restaurants. Take a ferry ride to Carrot Island or Shackleford banks to view the wild horses or visit the beautiful beaches of the Crystal Coast. Beau Retreat is a new construction, 6oo sq ft with its own entrance, parking, ac/heating unit, TV, fridge, microwave and toaster oven.

This private 544 sq ft nautical-themed bungalow features one large room with an open sleeping loft (2nd bedroom) overlooking the main floor. Downstairs is furnished with two rockers, sofa, queen-size Murphy bed, TV, dining table. There is a full bed & twin bed in the loft. Ideal for 4 guests, but accommodates 5. The kitchenette has basics (microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, small fridge) not equipped for cooking meals. Off-street parking & room for a boat trailer. No Pets/Smoking
