Vacation rentals with a firepit in Mascota

We had a lovely time staying in Maria’s beautiful and comfortable home. The house and the surroundings were amazing!!! The house felt so comfortable and inviting, we felt great spending time there. We even got to spend some time with Maria which added so much to our trip to Mascota, we had a lovely time hearing about the area from Maria. We spent 3 nights and mornings taking in the breathtaking sunsets and gorgeous sunrises from the back porch. We feel very fortunate to have been able to enjoy Mascota from the comfort of this beautifully crafted home! The dogs also added to our trip, we enjoyed their company while we strolled around the rangelands around the property. We highly recommend staying at Maria’s, and we would definitely come back for a longer visit some day! Thank you for everything Maria!

We enjoyed our stay in Mascota. Javier is friendly and responsive. The house is large and nicely tucked away on beautifully maintained grounds. A couple of things to note: If you do not have your own transportation, it is about a 20-25 minute walk to the center of downtown, the shorter distance down the main road that goes through town. It is better to veer off the main road and walk down Avenida Hidalgo, where you can find tortillas, fresh cheeses, and many restaurants a little closer to the plaza. As others have mentioned, three beds are up a flight of stairs, with the second bathroom on the first floor. While not ideal, it worked out OK for us, but we can see how it could be an issue for others.

Lovely accommodations, fantastic, friendly, and accommodating hosts, peaceful, beautiful location! Cristina and Xavier went out of their way to welcome and assist us, providing helpful recommendations and even providing a couple items I forgot to bring.

Todo muy bien, muy cerca de la plaza principal, la vista hermosa. Vale la pena

Tuvimos unas vistas preciosas, todo muy funcional y bonito, fácil de llegar y la cabaña está muy bien acondicionada con todo lo necesario. Toda la gente es muy amable, no hay señal pero no fue necesario ya que había muchos paisajes para apreciar, recomendable si necesitas conexión con la naturaleza y autoconocimiento. 😊 Nunca ví un cielo tan despejado para ver tantas estrellas!!!✨

Un lugar muy agradable lleno de buena vibra y muy acogedor. Con una variedad de plantas en el muy amplio y bonito jardin y patio, que generan un ambiente de paz digno de un descanso placentero. Paty nuestra anfitriona fue muy atenta, agradable y autentica, que genero un ambiente muy cordial y de respeto. La ubicacion muy cercana a varios almacenes donde conseguir lo que sea. Claro que volveremos.

Esta cabaña es hermosa por fuera y dentro , ademas tiene todo lo necesario para pasar toda la estancia dentro de ella sin necesidad de salir demasiado . La ubicacion es muy buena ya que es muy tranquila y tiene una vista al pueblo inconparable . La atencion por parte de Maria fue excelente . Sin duda un lugar en el que volveria a hospedarme .

Estancia tranquila y agradable. Sergio siempre fue amable y atento y en cuanto a las instalaciones tengo que decir que coinciden perfecto con la descripción y que están muy bonitas. Fue un plus poder llevar a nuestros 3 perritos. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aquí.

A lovely place to stay in a magical town. Comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed cooking and then eating outside with the wonderful view. Ixchel was welcoming, and helped us with the ride there and back from PV (if you''re lucky you'll get Daniel as your driver). Don't miss the churros at her churreria. So yummy.
