As always, Rita and Sebastian were great hosts, and the staff were very responsive and friendly. It was a lovely, refreshing home with amazing views. Advise a longer stay so you can get to enjoy the all the home and its surroundings have to offer; you won't want to leave.

Pam's place is truly amazing, we so much wished we would have booked to stay her for longer, unluckily for us, it was time for us to fly back. The house is located in a beautiful, secure location, there is 24/7 security which gave us total peace of mind. The house is quite spacious with pristine lush garden and external surroundings that are well kept. The place looks even better than the pictures. We will definitely be booking this place in future. The host also gave very clear and detailed instructions on how to locate the house. The rooms are well furnished and quality, comfortable bedding provided, there is a lot of attention to detail that made sure our stay was nothing but comfortable.

It was a pleasure staying at Viv’s place. My family found the spacious home very comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. When we had any issues the caretakers were very responsive. We also had to extend our stay by a day and Viv was more than happy to arrange this for us. Will definitely be staying here again when in town!

I had a wonderful stay at Mavis Place in Harare. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The space has a modern feel and is set up in such a way that I could hold my meetings without feeling like I was letting people into my private room, which was a major plus. The garden is lush and beautifully maintained, adding to the overall serene atmosphere. Security is excellent, providing a real sense of safety. The high-pressure shower was a delight, and I didn’t even notice when the power was cut, as the place is fully solar-powered, allowing me to continue as normal without any disruptions. Mavis’ attention to detail is impeccable, making the stay all the more enjoyable. Plus, being just 300 meters away from lovely cafes and a shopping center was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend Mavis Place for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-thought-out accommodation in Harare.

We have stayed at many airbnb's and this was in our top 3. Apartment is close to Highland park shopping centre and good restaurants such as Mozambik, upstate and laparada. Apartment was clean and Lloyd was proactive in sorting out issues eg WIFI went off and water ran out of the tank but Lloyd addressed this quickly. Will definitely book this apartment in the future.

This is my second time staying here. My first time was in 2023; I wrote a review, and everything I said then was still true this time, except the solar power was less stable than in 2023. But Lillian was an excellent host; she responded and fixed the power within minutes. My partner (and I agree) found the 10 am check-out time too early, especially with an evening flight outbound flight. Still, we had a pleasant stay and would stay here again.

I booked the accommodation for my family members. They had a great experience whilst staying at the cottage. They had a welcoming and peaceful stay. The Host provided a comprehensive description of the place. Big shout out to the lady who looks after the place. Prisca was always happy to assist. She stepped up and helped a member of my family when she had a medical emergency. Prisca went above and beyond the call of duty. A truly exceptional lady.

We had absolutely a wonderful stay! The space is stunning - beautifully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean. But what truly made our experience stand out was our host's exceptional hospitality. When we got lost on our way, our host went above and beyond to guide us to the location. Her patience and kindness is truly appreciated. Above all we felt home so sad we had to leave soon .We can't wait for our next visit !!

The location is easy to find and it's walking distance to Westgate shopping centre. The house is clean and has solar power backup, and the WiFi is as fast as you can get in Harare. The place is secure, and there is a quick response security service. The hosts are responsive and helpful, and avail themselves as far as the time difference with the US allows. Overall, the place is good value for money.
