We had a grand time in this eclectically appointed spot. Lots of space and enough oddities to make the place more than interesting and some very bizarre and eclectic decorating elements. The only downsides were the mattresses were not in the best of shape and a real cutting board in the kitchen would have been nice but we managed to work around those minor issues.

We greatly enjoyed out stay in Maysville as we were there to attend a wedding for the weekend. The home was absolutely perfect for our family and meet our needs. Great location and plenty of walkable things to see in do in downtown Maysville.

Relax and Unwind at River Front Oasis w/ Hot Tub

The location is absolutely perfect for the area. Other than a few trips to the grocery we didn’t need to leave for anything. The kitchen is well stocked. We woke up sitting on the deck drinking coffee listening to the wildlife looking directly at the Ohio River. We seen a few deers. Our family had a great time singing kareoke, fishing and relaxing in the hot tub. We built a fire roasted hot dogs and made smores. The location is secluded yet covenant. Our time was too short there, we would have loved to stayed a week. Thank you Jeff and Summer.

Fantastic retreat for our family of four and our dog. Peaceful, beautiful and a place with real meaning. Great sized cabin, well appointed, good hot tub and lots of fire wood for the fire pit. We enjoyed learning about Josh and his legacy and the foundation is doing great work. We will absolutely be back

Dad’s Cabin - Historic Lodge Cabin Getaway

The cabin was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. Obviously, the place is rustic — it was built some 230 years ago, after all — so it’s not a pristine place. We had some ladybugs squatting with us and a few spiders here and there. But the place was clean nonetheless and very cool and homey. Even our cynical preteen loved it there. The sunset was gorgeous. We visited two small towns nearby but our favorite part of the trip was definitely back at the cabin, walking around the water and watching the dogs frolic in the field of a backyard. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 200-year-old historic home. The highlight was definitely the stunning river view from the front porch, it was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their time there, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway!

Darci was a great host. Always proactive and very helpful. The place was a great little getaway for 2 people. We enjoyed the laid back nature of the cabin. We fished from the dock and from the rowboat. We even built a fire with the provided firewood. Much appreciate amenities.

Every year, my granddaughter and I search for a location to go to for our birthday trip together. We love trying new places and experiences. I'm so glad we found this place. Celine and her husband are incredibly kind, helpful, and accessible! Their tiny home and farm are a perfect getaway to unwind and just enjoy the day and night. We were able to meet and learn about the donkeys, as well as interact with them. We learned about their farm and had time to get our boots on and search the creek for fossils and such. The tiny house is definitely tiny, but was a perfect size for me and my granddaughter. We enjoyed every minute!
