Vacation rentals with a firepit in Mason County

If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the perfect opportunity. This cottage will allow you to enjoy a no stress vacation. We had 7 over 60 women in in our group. It is a large place with tons of beds. All stairs had railings on them. Bathrooms did not have railings which made it difficult for some of us. Also there was no outside lighting which made it difficult for some of us. The lake was nice to swim in and the large umbrella near the beach was very nice to have. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Al in all it’s a perfect place for a vacation but might need a few tweaks for seniors 😀

House was great. In a very quiet, private place. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Everything was labeled, easy to find and use, and comfortable. It had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, etc. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly.

This airbnb was the best I’ve ever rented. Everything was explained clearly about the property, before and in a booklet when we arrived. Tristen had everything we would need there at the property from hand soap, dish detergent, paper towel, trash bags, spices, coffee, towels, toilet paper, washcloths, fully stocked kitchen such as pots, pans, plates, silverware, the list goes on. She also had laundry detergent for the washer available! I have never stayed at an airbnb that was as fully stocked with all the things we expect to have to go and buy for a week when renting an airbnb. The home was beautiful and decorated well. Lots or boardgames, and things to do nearby. I highly recommend this place, we will come back when the weather is warmer. Thank you Tristen!

This was my first time reserving an AirBnb home and it was wonderful. Lauren keeps her home spotless, cozy, secure, and smelling good for a restful and relaxed vacation. I really love the comfortable and stylish aesthetic of the home as well, with plenty of natural light coming in. I enjoyed how close it is to downtown so I was able to spend a day walking around, shopping, eating, and taking in the scenery. I am very impressed with my stay and so happy I chose this home for my first experience!

I’ve stayed at Shane and Lil’ P’s place a couple of times now. It’s well-apportioned and set up for gatherings. Plenty of space to mingle, large dining tables, a bevy of cocktail glasses, accommodating back yard, great modern kitchen with island. Interior is real pretty with nice wood and old Victorian feel. Easy walk to pretty much anyplace you want to go (except maybe the grocery store), including the shore. Nestled in downtown, but residential and quiet just the same. Shane was responsive to my trifling needs and took care of them quickly. I like staying here and you will too.

Great location very close to town. More than enough space for my family of 4. Mark was very responsive to questions. Home is very clean and cozy. Wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

This was one of the best AirBnBs we have ever stayed in! The house was cozy and clean and had everything we could need. It felt very homey, was spacious and well kept. It is located on a lovely street and close to everything. Nicole was wonderful to communicate with. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay there again!

The place is top notch, very clean, newer modern decor. 100% satisfied.

We had a great visit and would be pleased to return in the summertime when we can enjoy the water location mofre directly!

We were originally supposed to been here two weeks before. My wife became ill three days before we were to leave and Melissa worked with us to find alternative dates. A fantastic host and very friendly. The space has everything you need and more. The town and the coast, extremely charming. Fall of the year, beautiful! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay along the coast of Michigan. You can see the water from the window and walk two streets to the beach, simply cannot say enough about the house and the area where we are staying.

Troy's place was amazing! It was very comfortable, stayed cool at night, very roomy, plenty of tvs, had an amazing fireplace, it's secluded, it was everything we were looking for! Troy was super awesome and answered any questions we had, and gave us fishing advice!

Shame it was only for a couple days, this place is beautiful and was a great escape. I donated a few flies to the flora of the river and the fish got the best of me, but would definitely book again.

We had 8 of us up to play the Arcadia golf courses and this place was perfect for our stay. Sitting by the river or playing pool we couldn't stop talking about how nice it was. Check in and out was simple if you need a place to stay close to Manistee or if you and a group of friends are planning a golf trip this is the place to stay!

We loved staying at the cabin! There was a great view of the lake, lots to do by the water (kayaks, canoes, aqua bikes and little boats) and yard games up for grabs in the game room. Having a fire each night was our favorite thing to do. I do just wish that the furniture in the living room and the kitchen table were a little more comfortable and I’d recommend bringing your own pillows! But the rest of the amenities far outweighed the “negatives”.

The cabin on the river was a perfect fall getaway. It was very peaceful, the house was comfortable and perfectly matched all descriptions. The fire-pit out back made an absolutely lovely evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

My wife and I had a very relaxing couple of days here. Easy directions, easy instructions to get inside. Very clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a nice getaway. Definitely recommend. 🙂

It was immaculate! Very clean, organized, and so cozy! Such a nice quiet place! The woodwork in the cabin was beautiful and the fireplace was amazing. The only things we would suggest to accommodate a salmon fishing trip would be a designated fish cleaning station and an extra trash bin. Maybe also a hot tub to soak our old bones after fighting the wild salmon. The welcome basket came in clutch.. very nice touch!

Very rustic and quiet! Loved the little convenient store, had everything you could need if you forget anything!! Grill and fire place right outside of our door. Plenty of space outside to walk around and hangout. Dim lighting inside cabin but we were outside so much it didn’t matter! Bathroom/shower was a very close walking distance and could see from our cabin which was great! Definitely would book again!

Nothing really to say. I would only suggest a boot brush outside. We take our shoes off, but hiking shoes etc, get full of mud and dirt. Everything is provided... inside and out! We will be back for sure! Love this little cabin!
