We hebben hier een prettig verblijf gehad buiten het hoogseizoen. Waardoor we de drukte in de baai en bij de strandbedjes hebben vermeden. De accomodatie was zoals aangeven op de foto’s. Voldoende te doen op loopafstand en mooi uitzicht.

Had a lovely time in Hirikiya and the Rez really made me feel like home. Was traveling solo and wanted a quiet place to relax and feel safe. The place was super clean and had all essentials needed to cook etc. Very glad this place is not located on the main street since it gets a bit loud at night. However, it is super close to all restaurants and both beaches. There is also Yoga being offered 100m away on a beautiful roof of a hotel that I highly recommend attending.

I had a great stay! From the start, I was warmly welcomed by the The Verse collective, who picked us up and brought us straight to the accommodation. The place itself is very cool, super clean, well air-conditioned, and has an amazing shower. It was really fun staying there. The beach is just a short walk away – about five minutes – you just walk up and down a small hill. There are also lots of great cafés and restaurants nearby. The check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, the people were really nice, and there were absolutely no problems at all. You can also easily arrange transport to the next city if you need it. Overall, a really great experience – would definitely come back!

Мы отдыхали на ЭКО Вилле почти 20 дней. Это очень приличное , тихое и спокойное место . Хозяйка отеля очень гостеприимна, любой вопрос решался быстро. Отель находится вдали от городского шума и суеты, в нем действительно можно расслабиться и отдохнуть. В каждом номере есть куня со всем необходимым, большой холодильник , сейф и вай Фай роутер, кондиционер. Кондиционер, кстати , работал хорошо, у нас было более чем прохладно ). Территория отеля ограждена , что не мало важно ! Каждые два дня номер убирали и меняли постельное белье и полотенца. Чистота была на высшем уровне . Нам очень понравился этот отель, если соберёмся опять на Шри Ланку , обязательно вернёмся сюда снова.

D Canal House - Sunrise Room with balcony

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im D Canal House! Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet und das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Von 10-19 Uhr gibt es einen kostenlosen Tuktuk Service vom Hotel bis zur Main Street und zurück - das ist sehr hilfreich und praktisch! Aber auch sonst sind es nur ca 10-15min zu Fuß zum Hotel und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Das Hotel liegt quasi im Dschungel, dementsprechend kann es natürlich mal sein, dass einem das ein oder andere Tier über den Weg läuft (war aber wirklich im Rahmen). Nachts kann man draußen die Pfauen, Affen und Grillen hören. Die Unterkunft war zudem sehr sauber.

Such a grate place to stay mount house hotel. The apartment was massive. The location was great 5 minutes walk to Dickwella beach & 10 minutes to Hiriketiya beach. You can also do your own laundry and use kitchen which was so convenient. There was a big garden surrounded the hotel. It was more value advantage. Highly recommend the place.

We stayed for a week at Celine’s place and it was fantastic. Christian, who runs it for her, was always available to answer any questions, was friendly and looked after us well. The location is perfect for the beach, only a 5min walk. It was great to a have a pool and it was so peaceful there. The room was very comfortable and clean. I don’t have any negative points and would definitely stay here again.

Mount House Hotel Garden Flower Room

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. man wohnt etwas abseits des Strands und der Hauptstraße, auf einem kleinen Hügel. Alle Apartments haben einen Balkon auf dem man abends den Mönchsgesängen und den Geräuschen des Dschungels lauschen kann. Alles ist dennoch easy zu Fuß zu erreichen und man hat auf dem Weg zum Strand viele lokale Geschäfte, Juice Bars und Restaurants die weitaus günstiger sind als die Gegenstücke am Strand. Es war wirklich prima, auch wenn das Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.
