Everything is spotless, but since it is near the mosque, there is a lot of noise at dawn, and it is very inconvenient to enter on a dirt road. Excluding this, it's a great place to stay.

Great place to stay while vacationing in Dar es Salaam. Easy check in and Care taker Malaki was always available for any question. Definitely I am recommending this place.

We had a wonderful stay and had lots of fun with a group of friends. The host was incredibly friendly, always available, and very supportive whenever we needed anything. The caretaker was also attentive, even late at night when we required assistance. The residence was clean and private. Although we visited during the rainy season and didn’t use the pool much, it was well-maintained—cleaned and treated appropriately before check-in and after check-out. The location is easily accessible from the main highway. I can't wait to come back to Dar es Salaam—this will definitely be my go-to place again. There's ample parking space, including covered spots, and the security is excellent.

A beautiful and great place! Namangi Cottage is a great place. It’s a big and clean house with a beautiful garden and it’s like you sitting in designed place. Rooms are also nice, and the kitchen is so nice. Lot of space with very good household utensils such as pots, plates, frying pans and more. Impressing! Maybe you can fix the oven, its hard to know hove it works. You have friendly and good people working around the house, just to keep the garden fresh and clean. It can be a little bit hard to find for taxi drivers, but Nashi will help you to get a good driver who knows the ways. Maybe you can but in some maps to show where to go to the beaches and so. Me and my wife was married in Namangi Cottage. Nashi and other people were so helpful, so our wedding become a memory for ever. Thanks for all help! We recommend this place for everyone. With love. Maria's place was the first Airbnb I have ever stayed in in Dar es salaam. And I will not be looking for any other for my next visits. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. It is clean and airy. The ACs and fans work beautifully. The caretaker is on site and standby incase of any eventualities. Whatever Maria says her apartment is, it is! It is located in a quiet and easily accessible area of Mikocheni. The area is safe to access even at night and the guard is always available to open the gate. When I arrived, the guard welcomed me with a smile knowing I was coming. Maria is a great communicator and proactive host. She was willing to leave her job to come solve a small issue at the apartment. Her flexibility and understanding is admirable. I felt at home at Maria's apartment and apart from going back there I will be highly recommending it to my friends and family.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment upstairs in one of the houses on the compound. The garden is beautiful, it is a quiet and safe area. It was fun to go across to the football field in the evenings and watch the local games. A local farmer sells fresh delicious yogurt across the lane.. There is lovely choir music on Saturday aft / Sunday mornings. The apartment was comfortable and all services as described in the posting were provided. The balcony was lovely to use in the evenings to catch the cool breeze. The on-site staff were wonderful and were quick to respond to all questions and requests. Grace also responded quickly to any questions. The small road leading to the apartment is a bit rough but okay to walk/drive slowly. It is good to have transport if you want to access the larger supermarkets and restaurants, but there are plenty of local shops within walking distance. Local transport is also available close by. I would recommend Grace and Bengt's place.

The host was wonderful. Our flight landed early in the morning and we requested for an early check-in to which she was welcoming. The house looked same as in the pictures. It is gated house with a gaurd present. there's a big mall around 1-1.5kms from the property. In the entire process, there was just one glitch that the address was tricky to find on Uber. But we ultimately didn't face any issue in finding the house as the moment we approached the host, she proactively guided us to the property.

Clean, safe apartment in a family-friendly apartment complex. Very close to restaurants and amenities of Masaki/Dar peninsula. Bravo to Eloi for actually equipping the kitchen with everything you need to cook!! I would highly recommend for families - the swimming pool, gym, and playground equipment kept our children happy and entertained. The building felt very homey and the security staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely book again.

This place is super cozy and it matches both the description and pictures. The kitchen has everything you would need for a short stay. The view of the garden was a lovely surprise and the hosts were responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Wow! This is what this totally hidden gem of a place! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home literally localated on the beach. Super friendly staff that will always try and accommodate your requests. Winny and Joseph and the masai security took great care of us. The private gardens are enormous with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host Sabrina was such a kind and thoughtful host, she even took time out to come visit us. She recommended great places to order food from and even arranged a local massage therapist to come visit. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hidden home to anyone wanting the luxury of a beach front getaway.

wow!!! what a beautiful apartment. Dennis's place was absolutely amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary for 2 weeks and Dennis met me and gave us a gift of a bottle of champagne. Anytime I had a question Dennis was extremely responsive in helping make this a very peaceful and lovely vacation. my husband and I had an amazing time and I will highly recommend Dennis place. It was very clean, looked like the pictures, and the art work and decorations were gorgeous. the only downside was that the apartment is on the 4th floor so...get ready for some exercise. Thanks for everything Dennis!
