Detached country house in meadows and forests in an absolutely secluded location. Hiking/bike trails start directly at the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A table tennis table, a kicker and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a panoramic view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

The spacious bathroom has a bathtub. The apartment is in a 2-family house with 3 cats.

With me, in the oldest house in Quentel, there is a lot of peace and quiet from the hectic everyday life and noise. However, there is also fast Wi-Fi and a workplace. The Documenta city of Kasel, Eschwege and Witzenhausen are easily accessible.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Our cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet still close to various leisure activities, such as hiking and biking trails, lakes and cultural attractions.

Living in Waldhessen

Guests have access to the property alone. Five steps lead to the front door. On the ground floor there is a spacious corridor, which is followed by the shared dining room with access to the terrace, kitchen, guest toilet and a bedroom for 3 people. Upstairs are three further bedrooms with 2 beds each and the bathroom with corner bath and walk-in shower. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV.
