Contemporary Private Guest Studio close to NYC

This was my first Airbnb or anything like it. As a single Senior, I appreciated the safety and convenience of Chris and Akilah's place. They always responded quickly to any correspondence, and helped me to learn new things like the App used to unlock the door. The space is simple but immaculate, with thoughtful touches like the snack cabinet. Plenty of street parking. I did get lost leaving the area that first day, so I made sure to keep written directions at hand (unnecessary if you use Google maps; I'm learning the advantage). It's a lovely neighborhood, and close to most anything you could want for shopping, restaurants, roadways. Absolutely recommend this listing and hosts Chris and Akilah. Thank you!

South Brunswick -Highgate Manor -Princeton

Margit is a very welcoming, generous, and helpful host. The room and bathroom was nice and clean. I biked daily between Margit's house and Princeton University via route 518 and the towpath along the canal. This was both a safe and scenic route of about 9 miles. There is also a nice and safe all-asphalt route via 518, Princeton Ave., Mt Lucas Rd., and Jefferson Rd (in wet conditions, this route is preferable because the towpath can be muddy at places). I could park the bike in Margit's garage at night. The house is in walking distance of a bus stop for the Coach USA 100 line between New York and Princeton. This makes it very easy getting to Princeton from the house on days where the weather is not for biking. The bus also stops at New Brunswick which is connected by train to Newark airport. So getting to and from the house from/to Newark is easy too. If I were to come back to the Princeton area, I would certainly stay with Margit again!
