Vacation rentals with lake access in Midt-telemark

Cozy, old house in idyllic area, but still centrally located. Cheerful host who went a long way to arrange for us.

Had a great vacation! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house. Unfortunately, the stove/open was not so easy to use. PlayStation 4, gym and kayak were not available (as advertised). Too bad!

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Great house in a nice location for hiking fishing and hiking. The hosts and absolutely fabulous.

Great view! Easy to use kitchen. Easy to find and get to by car as it is just off a main road (but you don't hear it as main road in this area isn't very busy). I didn't partake, but there were overflowing bowls of candy and a few other kitchen items left out in addition to the listed coffee and tea. I did appreciate the coffee machine in the morning. My only issue was that there was a minor plumbing problem, but Araz was great in responding and the issue has undoubtedly been dealt with long before you are likely to have read this.

The house is great. The environment is fabulous! Right in the middle of winter it was perfect! Very well-equipped!

Beautiful location and a wonderful stay - the surroundings and the house are fantastic, we enjoyed swimming and boating in the lake, the beautiful surroundings and the evenings with family and friends BBQ and quality time outside on the terrace. The sunsets and shooting stars were magnificent. Jon was very attentive if we had any questions. Already homesick to this beautiful place, we'd love to come back sometime!

Beautiful house with great interior and large garden. The house was in a great location walking distance to the town and very close to the water. Had all amenities that we needed and really enjoyed our stay. Communication was very good . Perfect house for a family

Great place, spacious and well equipped. Easy to find, easy to park. Perfect if you are going a few days or more on the slopes. Recommended! We will probably use it again:)

Perfect apartment for men's weekend skiing, there was what we needed. And close to the slopes 👍🏻

Stayed here for two days in connection with a visit to Sommarland. Short distance there and to other amenities you need. Aslaug was friendly and welcoming. Arrived unsolicited with drying rack for us when we were going to dry some towels and came with an extra saucepan when we requested it. Very nice host and we were very happy with our stay. Will be more than happy to come back!:)

We had a great stay at the cabin in Kviteseid. Communication with Martha was smooth and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and well-equipped — from a cosy sofa to relax on in the evening to a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. What I especially appreciated was how exceptionally clean everything was upon arrival – truly spotless. As a bonus, we got to watch deer passing by the cabin every evening, which made the experience even more special. A peaceful and well-maintained place that we would happily return to.

We were super happy with our stay at the place. We arrived and we were waiting for a great place to stay where the oven was already burning and made the house chubby warm. The communication with Kristoffer was always nice and he was very responsive. If we needed him, he was on hand and offered his support. We will certainly not have been there the last time.

We had a lovely stay at Gullborg's place. Everything lived up to expectations, and we felt really lucky to have found such a lovely place. Both children and adults enjoyed the beach, the garden, and the beautiful terrace with beautiful views. Vrådal offers great hiking opportunities - also for small children. We would love to come again!
