“Lee is timely in communicating about travel and stay details. Her apartment is sweet, clean, roomy... all of our needs were anticipated. It was easy to walk to downtown, which has some quaint shops. We particularly enjoyed the bookstore. We'll definitely be booking with Lee again.”
Our serene lakefront cottage in pastoral Rhinebeck is located on Silverlake, one of the largest private lakes in the state. In summer months, you can swim, boat, fish. In winter, cozy up by the fireplace or skate. Bright and stylish space with minimal aesthetic, direct water access and expansive lake vistas. Less than 2 hour drive from NYC, 5 min drive to Omega, and 8 min drive to trendy Rhinebeck Village where you can find a multitude of dining options and shops. Instagram - @silverlakecottage
“Truly, the coziest, quaintest nook of perfection in the heart of the Hudson Valley. This home is simply sublime, with every inch well thought out and well-designed - from the gas fireplace to the modern kitchen. Only 10 minutes from the main Rhinebeck Village, it’s still very much secluded, planted directly on a quiet, beautiful lakeside. Check-in was easy, and Tim was super easy to communicate with. Will definitely return, without question.”

“Greg and Dawn are wonderful hosts, and are as present or absent as you want them to be. They are EXTREMELY responsive and helpful and super accommodating. I happened to be interested in collecting eggs and learning about the chicken farm, which Greg happily indulged. This property and surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful and such a welcome escape from the city. It’s fun saying hi to the roosters, chickens, turkey, and duck every morning. The roosters don’t start announcing the new day until about 8am so sleeping in isn’t an issue if that’s what you want. The home is new, clean, and updated but has charming /vintage/farmhouse decorative touches that make for a very cozy and homey feel. The farm eggs in the fridge upon arrival are a nice touch and are delicious. The bed is comfortable and there are PLENTY of extra blankets and pillows. The couch and living area are also comfortable, and there’s good wifi, cable with premium channels, and games/puzzles if you want to disconnect. The kitchen is fully equipped and I was fully able to cook all my meals. I was here working remotely for a week while NYS is on PAUSE so dining out wasn’t an option, though many area restaurants are open for take out and I did pick up some cooked lobster from Slammin’ Salmon as a treat one night. I loved my stay here so much and can’t wait to come back, particularly when PAUSE is over and the downtown shops are open, and restaurants open for dine-in service.”
