“I rented the garden house for a quiet weekend away, and it was just what I needed! The place is walking distance from the train station and to town, which was very convenient. I was warmly greeted by the host upon arrival. The tiny house is very clean, cosy and quiet. There are nice windows for natural light to pour in. A nice breakfast of yogurt, toast, cereal, and tea are provided in the house. The house is filled with beautiful paintings and has many nice touches that contribute to the "garden" theme, such as the bird-themed mugs and curtains. The bathroom is spacious and modern with a nice shower. The main room has a comfortable bed, a large desk, and a great selection of books! Outside there is a garden with a bench for sitting and enjoying the space. Daniel gave some nice suggestions of places to go for walks. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing, and peaceful time.”

“Really enjoyed my time staying with Phil. Felt right at home as soon as I arrived. Very warm and welcoming host. The house is lovely, a very modern space which was spotlessly clean. Highlights would be the shower and the comfiness of the bed! 100% would recommend and would return if I’m ever back in Gloucester.”
Hideaway Shepherd Hut is situated on top of an old cider orchard in the heart of the Gloucestershire country side with views of The Malverns and May Hill. The beautiful Forest of Dean is also a twenty minute drive away. The location is completely private, ideal for visitors looking for a place to relax, unwind and enjoy a cosy, romantic break.
“Can’t say enough good things about this little find... seriously stunning and private location. The hut is well equipped - we even made muscles and frites on/in the wood burner as there is an stove/oven like space. It was fun doing tea “bear grylls style” as Robbie called it upon check in. The kettle, toaster and microwave were helpful too of course. Beautiful fire. We felt really cosy and warm the whole time - although tip ;) bring your slippers for the wooden and tiled flooring. We enjoyed lovely walks at May Hill close by and also just behind the hut itself so you can have a car free break! A real treat to rest and relax. Reading or watching a movie. Lovely touches throughout - Gillie and Robbie are delightful hosts! We’re looking for dates for our next visit :)”
