Treehouse vacation rentals in Mississippi River

Stay was great was a good vibe and nice scenery. Love the trees and tranquility of the neighborhood. Stay wasn’t really luxury but more of regular home just situated in forestry area. Only great thing was scenery. Propane grill caught fire due to a bad propane leak on grill. I’m certified in fire safety. There was no fire extinguisher on site which is very dangerous. Really wanted to use grill. Was able to extinguish fire without extinguisher. This air bnb was missing crucial things. Dishwasher didn’t work , hand washed dishes whole time. Dryer didn’t work air dried clothes. Windows don’t have any privacy can see straight into room. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. WiFi and Tv were a joke (didn’t work). Overall property still had nice vibes and resort is amazing.

We had a fabulous stay at The Treehouse. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. It was private and peaceful. The layout was perfect for our family and we had plenty of space. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We would love to stay again when visiting Lake Livingston.

We had a great time and a peaceful trip. The place was very private. We wanted an "off season" getaway and this place was perfect. I really appreciated the "spot lights" over the dine-in kitchen table…I could tie some fishing hooks with directed light. Would definitely book again and would recommend to others thinking of going to the area for fishing. Herkley met us, opened up the place and made sure it was to our satification when we arrived. It was nice to have a person near by if an issue would arise- but none did! Thank you so much!

We had an amazing time on our 5th wedding anniversary (traditional theme is wood), surrounded by the woods. It’s a very special place, nestled in the piney woods. There was almost as many things to look at in the cabin, with all the art, as there was outside. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We’ll have to bring our kiddo next time for the awesome loft!

We loved our stay! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and enjoyed the hiking nearby and the cozy vibes at the cabin.

I wanted to create a lasting memory with my family, and with the backdrop of the cabin we did just that. Great experience!

Absolutely stunning view off the back deck. The sunsets were beautiful with the lake being the main attraction. The cabin was cozy and beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to stay at this cabin again!

My stay at the treehouse was absolutely magical. The location and surrounding area is quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. Everything was pristine and clean! I loved listening to the rain and the birds in the morning from the main deck and loved the hidden room with art supplies and books as well- so much fun! Misty was a wonderful host and very responsive and kind. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and Vrbos, and the treehouse is hands down, my favorite. What a treat, thank you for having me- I hope to return later this summer!

It was relaxing and enjoyable. Very clean and welcoming. We were nervous it would be tough to find at first, because that wasn’t in the directions, but clearly marked signs upon arrival!

Absolute loved our stay at The Hideaway, and will surely be back to stay here again! Had everything we needed, and the location/views were everything we hoped for. Very peaceful and comfortable. Incredibly communicative and easy to follow instructions from the host - thank you for everything!

This was the second time at the tree house. Just as magical as the first. The hottub, the fire pit, the living space, and the VIEWS. It is perfect for a little getaway. I have and will continue to recommend to everyone I know! The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly and have top notch communication. Stay here!!!

The cabin was beautiful and so was the drive up to it! Kim left the lights on for us since we did not arrive until after dark. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary and we will likely stay here again!

The Painted Bird is peaceful and beautiful. Enjoy the outdoors on the 2 spacious decks, relaxing or grilling a yummy burger OR just hanging in the hammocks taking in nature. Tucked away in the woods yet just a few minutes from town. We loved every minute of our stay, comfy, clean and quiet.

This cabin was super cute and exactly what we were looking for for a fun little getaway 😊checking in we were surprised with a little treat basket with homemade cookies. Very delicious!

I booked this cabin for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint! All of our friends were asking where this was when i posted pics on my socials. The views are amazing, the hot tub was clean and ready to use, my daughter loved the “treehouse”. This space is truly one of a kind! I will definitely be back! Kali was very helpful as well! 10/10

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! My family had an amazing experience staying at Melissa’s place! The cabin was just as described – clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with plenty for us and our teenagers to do outdoors, from enjoying the hot tub, to kayaking, wading in the creek, cooking s’mores or just relaxing in a hammock. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The communication was seamless, and I appreciated how quick the host was to respond to any questions I had. The little touches, like fresh towels, complimentary coffee, and the thoughtful guidebook, made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from the rush of life. Our family will definitely be back!

We chose TreeLoft for a celebration of our anniversary. We wanted a unique setting that would be memorable, private and afford us the "permission" to be unplugged from the world. It accomplished this and much more. The peace and joy experienced in this setting brought great sleep, relaxed days, great conversation, laughter and clarity about some things. We had no agenda, but in reading the Word of God separately and together, we received many insights and direction. We thank Kaci & Waylon for bringing TreeLoft, a labor of love, into reality.

The treehouse was as described. The setting was comfortable. There was a really nice elevated deck and also a covered picnic table. There was a pristine BBQ grill. The description was clear that there was no wifi. As long as you know that ahead of time you will be fine staying here.

We enjoyed staying at cabin #3! The lookout is gorgeous and the whole property feels so secluded. Our dogs really enjoyed it, too! Thanks, Robbie!

not my 1st treehouse but certainly the one by which all the others will now be judged . From moment I arrived I knew this was the sort of place for me . Very comfortable indeed & deceptively larger than it would appear . A beautiful view of the woods from the rear deck . I loved watching the sun go down & the nocturnal creatures getting up . Location is very easy to find & get to . A great base from which to explore this part of Missouri & further afield. Plenty of restaurants, stores , places to visit within a few minutes easy drive . I managed to meet the host Dave who was extremely friendly & kind . From 1st enquiry through to check out , he has been extremely helpful , informative in his responses which were always prompt . highly recommend both the accommodation & the host
