“What we loved about this place is how it lived up to our expectations and even more. The Airbnb photos of the room we used are exactly what it is: beautiful, stylish and homey. One can also tell that the design of the room has a personal touch. Their house is clean and nice, and our host and her family are very approachable. The location of this place is quite nice also; set in a quiet neighbourhood (away from the hussle and tussle of the city so we slept soundly every night) with just walking-distance access to buses and transportation, we were able to do our tour of London as planned. We wished we could stay longer than a weekend but of course life gets in the way. Price-wise, I believe that it is reasonable, for the room we stayed in, the amenities, and the overall experience. I'd have to say that this is one of our best Airbnb experiences so far. And with a host as great as Lydia, you can definitely call this place your home away from home.”
Breakfast is included in the price.
“If you have to be trapped somewhere during a global pandemic, it might as well be at Karen’s place! What can I say, I arrived in London a couple days before the virus really got serious and the Lockdown began. Safe to say my trip didn’t turn out as I planned. Having said that…Karen’s home is welcoming and in a good location for mass transport - which I didn’t do because as I write this, the lockdown is still in effect (Stay at Home, people!). Karen’s a great host and you have access to the kitchen. Also there’s several supermarkets nearby if you need to stock up on supplies, like I did. Also a really nice park in walking distance which I was able to go take a walk through once a day. There’s a great jazz club nearby, which I planned on going to, but was closed due to the lockdown. I hope it survives after this and I’m able to check it out in the future. There’s also a nice garden in the back, I spent time reading a book there and occasionally seeing some friendly neighborhood cats. All in all, it’s a great place under less than ideal circumstances. Karen’s great on communication and helpful.”
