The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

The accommodation is a perfect place to lay your head for a weekend, a work trip or accommodation around a wedding or event. There’s no kitchen although tea and coffee are provided and the nearby Caterham Cafe does a great breakfast! Costa, Cafe Nero and restaurants are also moments away.

You are close to Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill as well as the Vann Lake Nature Reserve. 4 doors up from the Inn on the Green the space has been sympathetically restored to create a comfortable self-contained annex. A one bedroom period cottage in rural location overlooking garden and fields set in a small 17th century hamlet. Totally self-contained, The Old Dairy was originally used by nearby Byfleet Manor, which many people will recognize as a location used in Downton Abbey, as the milking parlour. The Old Dairy is a single storey property approached via gravelled driveway and path with ample parking surrounded by peaceful gardens. There is an EV charging point for small additional charge.
