Situated 5 minutes walking distance to San Mateo Río Hondo's center, our cabin sports one of the best views in town. In the morning, the sun peaks through floor to ceiling glass panes, slowly lighting up the mountain range across the valley. In the evenings, you're welcomed home by a warm fire, bamboo sheets, handwoven wool blankets, a luxurious mattress and a Starlink connection.

The cabin has a small kitchen equipped for cooking and preparing a good coffee or tea. Near the cabin you can take a hike until you reach the river. The cabin has Wifi to work online or be in connection with the outside world.

I live on the edge of the village and my front yard is the forest and a few steps away is the main trail to the river and forest. This is an authentic Zapotec village.
