Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Monmouth County

This was our third year staying there, it always feels like home. Geraldine is there to greet you, show you around and makes sure you know you can get in touch with her at any time. The house is exactly like the photos, clean, plenty of space. There is a harbor and small beach within walking distance . There are plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, toys for a day at the beach. She makes sure on your first morning you have coffee, juice and homemade treats!! We will continue to stay here every year!!!!

Patty was amazing! This is the second time staying in her home, and again, it did not disappoint. It was nice that we knew the expectations and Patty shared information about the home before we got there. She has been and was again very responsive to any needs or questions. Her backyard is fabulous and perfect for reading in the gazebo, having coffee on the deck, or taking a cat nap in the hammock. We were not able to take advantage of the fire pit, but that too was a great space! The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with essentials and the downstairs bedroom was perfect for my mother in law that uses a cane.

Haifa was a wonderful host- very communicative and added thoughtful touches to make it a nice stay. The house was very charming and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David and Blaine’s house! This place really felt like a home, complete with a well stocked kitchen, cozy lounge areas, an office setup, and an extra comfy bed! It was clean and spotless on our arrival and the hosts were proactive and quick communicators! The completely fenced in yard was a great bonus for our pup!

Paulette’s place is a gem. Clean, and well loved home. The kitchen had everything, and Paulette was kind enough to leave fresh eggs for us and beer. The garden is pure magic and the birds are wonderful. Great place within the short drive from Princeton University. I was there for the dog shows and I was fortunate enough that Paulette’s place was pet friendly. Thank you.

Firstly, Roberto was an excellent host! Not only was he always the first to interact, but he truly wanted to make sure the stay was to mine and my Fiancée’s liking. The house itself, in short, was absolutely perfect (I didn’t want to leave it lmao). Joked a lot about pitching an offer and moving in! All in all this was an amazing first experience with Air B&B, and we will definitely make an excuse to stay here again

It’s was a top notch stay for a group of friends attending a near by wedding. It was a great deal compared to the hotel and we loved being able to all stay together. It was a very clean space and spacious location! Thanks Julie!

Beth did a great job of communicating with us —making it easy for me to contact her with any questions. The home was clean and had a great backyard area. My group particularly appreciated the towels, kitchenware, and bikes that were available during our stay. I would certainly stay here again.

I loved this home! We had an extended stay and very much enjoyed the home. What really stood out for us was the back yard set up. It felt like a "resort" experience - large pool, great quality furniture and lounge chairs, and PLENTY of room. The grill was large and in great working order. The home itself was what you would expect from a traditional bi-level but included two separate living areas for larger numbers of guests. The hosts were immediately responsive for what few small issues we had. The street is quiet and there is a large lake a block away. The house is situated on a dead end at the end of the block for privacy. There is a train line directly behind the house but we found after a few days we barely noticed when the train went by. All in all it was a great experience and we would book this home again.

Mac allowed us to check in early, which was a huge help as we traveled with our 93-year-old dad. Upon arrival, the check-in instructions were clear and accurate. The house was clean and actually looked even better than the pictures. The pool was very nice, and my brother swam every day we were there. It was great to have a full kitchen stocked with a plethora of cutlery, plates, cups, pots, and pans. We had a small issue with the tv as it stopped working. Mac was on it immediately, and the tv came back on within 30 minutes or so. Although it was buffering when we first arrived, whatever Mac had his ISP do to the modem/router, the tv and internet worked seamlessly afterward. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would stay here again. We were very pleased with the home! Thank you, Mac and Shama for being such gracious hosts!

A great place to stay. No noise, no neighbor worries if you want to have some late talks or music. Area is safe and easy to walk to restaurants, stores. The pool was awesome and the weather was even better! A great time. Hosts were super responsive. We would do it again for sure.

Better than a hotel. And free parking would stay again

We stayed at Kathy’s house while visiting family and it was absolutely perfect. The house was very clean and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. I was able to exercise in the front yard and took runs/walks in the neighborhood. The location is amazing. We forgot something after we left and Kathy was very responsive and kind. We would definitely return if needed!

This is the 2nd year we've stayed here while visiting family at Thanksgiving. We enjoy being able to walk to restaurants and shops. The house is clean and we appreciate that the linens are provided.

Steve's place was beautiful. The backyard and pristine inground pool were a hit with our girls. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the first time we have ever stayed in an Airbnb. I honestly had no idea what to expect. Lauren was great! she answered all her questions and made the process extremely easy. You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

The reason we needed these accommodations, and pretty quickly, was because my brother has advanced pancreatic cancer and we needed a space for all the family to gather to be able to visit him at his home in Freehold. Gertrude was incredibly sensitive to my situation and worked with me every step of the way. She showed compassion and concern. She was very flexible when we checked in and when I needed to extend, she worked with me to make it an easy process. I also needed to know if my handicapped father would be able to access the home and she was able to answer all the questions I had about accessibility. And while the area is wooded and secluded, it is an easy ride to more populated areas for dining and shopping. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Lovely little cottage with all the necessary amenities. Really enjoyed our stay!

Place was cozy and beautiful. My family and I enjoyed the place. Definitely will come back to area and would love to stay here again. A lot of charm and beach area was nice, that my son, wife and dog had a chance to enjoy, with time on the sand. I had a work conference in the area the whole weekend. However, did not know of this area before this weekend and absolutely loved it.

Loved staying in this gem of a home! If you’re looking for something different down the shore this is the place for you! Check out the Mule Barn restaurant just a few doors down, enjoy the plentiful wildlife and of course the beautiful Jersey beaches! Brian’s house was well stocked and comfortable for our family with two young boys and our dog.

Our stay was wonderful! Very private and a perfect little space to relax! The outside patio area and fire pit is super cute and I wish our stay was longer in order to have more time to enjoy the property! Will definitely come back again! The host was also amazing, fast responses, clear instructions, and super accommodating! Ten out of ten!

Nicely decorated, clean and quiet property in an awesome location half a block from the beach and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The huge deck was a great place to relax. Host is very well organized - everything went smoothly. Great property!
