Such a cool spot, the cabin is in a mini-resort with about 35 different cabins, each one unique and different from the others. Next time we’ll come back for the treehouse. This cabin was spacious for 2 of us, got the cast-iron wood burning oven blazing as soon as we arrived, and it kept it even warmer than needed through the night. We cooked on the grill provided to cook over the open fire pit, making steaks and potatoes. Wasn’t a sound to hear at night, the silence and surroundings were very relaxing, and the stars were incredible. This cabin was « back to basics » with no power nor running water, but as long as you’re up for a little adventure, it has everything you need, and nothing that you don’t. We will definitely come back, and while this cabin was great, we’ll probably try a different unit at the Terra Perma resort as there are lots to choose from! Host was very responsive to our questions and requests.

keeping it short, chimo refuge offered us an amazing stay. it was beautiful, peaceful, and everything you would want on a relaxing trip away from home. located in the heart of nature with lots of places to explore and not far from the st sauveur town. the host was super helpful and very kind. definitely coming back, highly recommend!

We were not able to experience a refuge due to a booking problem that can arrive at any rental center; but the hosts were kind enough to offer us the cottage which was far beyond our expectations. Very relaxing, quiet and intimate. The view is to fall on the floor! Thanks again

This is a lovely cottage, right on the lake, with beautiful views and an easily walkable neighbourhood. We arrived late, but the house was easy to find, the driveway perfectly shovelled and the house well lit to allow easy access. The wood burning stove perfectly warmed up the space although it wasn't needed with the electric baseboard heating. Dany, our host, was very communicative and accommodating, allowing us a late check out without question. My 19 year old son said we should come back in the summer to enjoy the lake, and we agree with him! Thanks so much for the relaxing and super comfortable weekend, Dany!

The cabin was such a great experience and isolated enough where we felt connected with the nature, everything about the amenities was perfect! We loved that they had little carts where the cars are parked so we can wheel stuff to the cabin, can’t wait to stay again!

A very nice welcome. The lodge is beautiful. We recommend this little place of paradise for couples looking for a place to make a rural stop and discover the art of rebuilding with used materials. The results are surprising.

Private little bungalow on a quiet street for a great price. I wish I could have taken advantage of the back patio but it was winter time ! In the summer it would be a great private retreat. Located minutes from public transport to downtown old Longueuil and Montreal. Under 30 min. drive from downtown Montreal ! What a treat. I would definitely recommend and rent again.

A perfect stay in an adorable and warm cottage, nestled in a peaceful setting. Marie-Danielle and David's welcome was excellent. Marie-Danielle is a great host, helpful and always accommodating if needed. We immediately felt at home. A great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful walks around.
