Gladys and David were great, from our initial contact/questions (when we were looking for a place to stay) through our departure. They were responsive and really helpful throughout. They helped us to add an additional sleeping spot, so our kids could each have their own bed, which we really appreciated! We were specifically looking for easy access to a metro station and to American University...this location was perfect for both. The metro station, where we could also get a metrobus we needed, was a short walk away, and getting to American University on a Tuesday morning during rush hour was easy and quick. The area is very nice for a walk and there are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. This was our first experience with Air BnB and it was a great one...we couldn't have had better hosts for our first Air BnB stay. Thanks, Gladys and David!

Absolutely loved stay at Miguel’s place! The neighborhood offered several delicious food options and the space was immaculate. It was a quick 15 min drive wherever we wanted to visit. This will definitely be on our list for our next trip to DC.

Great place to stay for a D.C. trip. We walked to the Metro each morning and took that downtown. It was about a 15 minute walk and is great if you’re fine with that. It’s tucked away nicely and feels like a safe area too. Overall a great stay.

Pavla's apartment was squeaky-clean in all rooms and in a lovely neighborhood. I went walking most days and enjoyed the spring flowers everywhere. We like to cook so we appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen. The house is in a quiet area and the bed is firmly soft, so I fell asleep every night right away. The location was perfect for our activities in MD and DC--it was easy to get around from here. Thanks for offering your superb spot, Pavla! We had a great stay.

Hassan is a very nice man, and the house is beautiful. It is a basement apartment but there is plenty of light due to many full size windows. It has a nice washer and dryer, fridge, and kitchen. Opulent bathroom. Plenty of space for many to sleep. The WiFi works great, and there's plenty of parking for guests. Really it's just like being in a duplex, except flipped sideways (you're on the lower level). There are about 8-10 steps you need to descend to get to the door, no ramp access.

Nice place, nice location. Parked on street. They say "permit only" not really enforced and I believe it-I was fine for 3 nights. Responsive hosts, good stay.

I had the terrific pleasure of spending 5 months at this beautiful Airbnb and could not have been happier with my choice. The apartment is exactly as described--fresh, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated with modern touches and charming details. The space is thoughtfully laid out, with a generous living area, terrific workspace, and a SUPER comfy bed that made it easy to settle in for my extended stay. Samer and Denise are gracious, responsive, and go the extra mile. The apt's location is unbeatable, especially for if you plan to visit American University It’s just a short walk to campus, with easy access to the Metro for exploring the rest of DC. The neighborhood is lovely, safe, walkable, and lush (mature trees and beautiful front gardens). Within a few blocks, you’ll find 3 grocery stores, a range of great restaurants, shops--everything you need. Whether you’re visiting DC for business, leisure, or a sabbatical stay, I cannot recommend this delightful highly place enough!

This place exceeded expectations. Privacy is well-maintained, offering a peaceful and comfortable stay without disturbances. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless and well-kept. Organization was great, with everything thoughtfully arranged for convenience and ease of use in short period staying. Additionally, the host’s communication was excellent—clear, prompt, and always helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!

I would definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises. I really enjoyed it and it was extremely convenient. To help make your stay enjoyable as well, please read the description and communicate with the host to ask any questions. Know that there is no blackout blind in the bedroom. Also there is a mechanical or maybe water sound that has a low, constant drone near the bedroom. At the time of my stay, the young person of the house seemed to be up around 7:30ish and down at night around 7ish. Be prepared to get your feet wet if dew or rain as you have to walk through grass to get to the back of the house. Hope this helps.

I have really enjoyed the place. It is quite, peaceful and is exactly as shown in the pictures. The place is quite large and has a lot of useful amenities like kitchen, fridge, kettle, smart tv. The restaurants and grocery shops are within a few minutes driving distance. I will definitely come back.

I had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Check-in was smooth, and everything was well taken care of. I’d definitely stay here again!

My stay here was great and comfortable. Yohanes was extremely accommodating. The upstairs unit shared hvac w. Basement unit and the guest didn’t like that I had it toasty so Yohanes brought by a space heater to keep both places comfortable. Parking was good too & he made sure we had a permit.

My family and I stayed here for a week while we were visiting DC. This place is close to the Metro (about 10-15 min walk). Ben was quick to respond to any questions I had. Place was spacious and comfortable for me, my husband, our son and his wife and our other adult son. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This place was amazing and a home away from home! I really enjoyed the layout and everything about it. Quiet area and close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay at Scott’s place. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, all instructions were very easy to follow, and the space was large and as described. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom seemed like it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We were only there for a short while and arrived quite late at night so we just dealt with it. I’m sure if we had said something, Scott would have fixed the issue - he’s a friendly and communicative host and it’s clear that he wants to make the place as comfortable as he can.

Mary and Sam went above and beyond with their place! Accommodations were top notch and communication was very quick to respond. My traveling partner and I were beyond impressed and we cannot wait to stay again in the future.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon. We could not have asked or wished for a better place to stay in spite of the limited funds we had for a bigger out of the country vacation for our honeymoon. Tebebe was very friendly and his family welcomed us with wine and chocolates; very nice gesture to grant us for our occasion. The whole space was rich in design, very comfortable, and the beds were so soft and comfortable we had the best sleep we had for a while. The entertainment system in the living room was top tier, we didn’t even have to go to the movie theater, we enjoyed movie theater quality sound in the comfort of the guest house. Tebebe designed the home very nice with beautiful paintings hung up throughout the property. My only drawback will be that the shower door does not close all the way shut. Aside from that, everything was amazing. We will definitely visit here again when we vacation in Maryland.

Great for short or long term stay! Amazing hosts and everything you need

The apartment was exactly as described, very clean and just right for our visit. The directions to get in were very clear. We arrived pretty late at night and, even so it was relatively easy to find street parking. The two bedrooms are relatively small but that is what we would expect in a major city and we didn’t need more than a place to sleep. The street is lined with sweet houses and around the corner from a few places to eat. David was a great communicator and very quick to respond. We would definitely return for another stay.

Lynn is an outstanding host—attentive, thoughtful, and quick to respond to any request. The apartment is compact, cozy, and impeccably clean. Lynn has thoughtfully provided everything you might need during your stay, even pasta, instant noodles, and various seasonings. Both the kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked with cleaning supplies reserved just for guests. The unit is a semi-basement with its own private entrance, giving you nearly complete privacy. Although Lynn’s gym is right next to the bathroom, I was never disturbed; she’s very respectful of her guests' privacy. The only shared area is the laundry room, and she always checks in before using it. Overall, everything was fantastic! I had an absolutely wonderful time here.

We had a great experience staying at Lili’s place for a work trip. The apartment was extremely clean and located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We had everything we could need for a week. Lili was attentive to our needs and very communicative.
