Here you can watch the sheep on the dike from the kitchen table and enjoy the calming course of the Jümme from the bed. On cold days, a small fireplace warms you, in addition to the underfloor heating. Two large patio doors open the space and the view into the vast expanse of Hammrich. Due to the orientation of the house, you are completely on your own despite the proximity to the main building.

Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

The "Thea" townhouse impresses with cozy retreat corners, such as the sleeping area with a view of the sky, the light-flooded reading & relaxation room with a small yoga & meditation corner or the outdoor bed. Dogs are welcome, and there is a fenced garden, a cuddly cave and bowls for them. I myself loved living here and enjoying all weather conditions from the sleeping area, listening to the birds in the outdoor bed or reading on the sofa with a tea.

Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.
