Vacation rentals with a patio in Moosehead Lake

I had a great time staying at Tom and Cindy's Airbnb with my family. It was peaceful and the pond was beautiful. The home was very clean and very well stocked. It made cooking easier which we did a bit of during our stay. I highly recommend Shelby's Cafe which is not too far from the cabin. The drinks (alcoholic) were also a hit. The service was exceptional and the food was good. The owner gave us free cupcakes for the adults and children! We visited Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, which are our favorite spots (about 2 hours from the cabin). The weather was about 50-60 degrees during the day and the crisp air felt amazing. The Botanical Gardens in Boothbay was also very nice (about 2 hr from the cabin).I think going there at night would be even more amazing to see the lights. It was a family friendly attraction. They have a garden just for the kids with a sandbox, water play, scavenger hunt, and a variety of play houses, and games. Very nice stay!

A great “glamping” spot! The location is amazing and being able to rent kayaks was perfect! A very fun stay for a lake adventure!

Perfect condo alternative! We booked with our 2 dogs in mind and were very pleased. The cabin had everything you’d need to host a cozy family dinner. The main living area was very spacious and the views of the river were an added bonus.

Great stay!! Love the privacy and views of the deer every night. Definitely the perfect little cabin.

The apartment was squeaky clean and the hosts were proactive with helpful information as well as very responsive to questions and needs.

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

We had a great stay. We were in Maine to visit my cousin & for our summer vacation. It was great we were able to have our dog with us. House had so much to do & beautiful views. Only complaints I had was no counter space for food prep & no lobster pot. I made due & learned how to grill lobster. Turned out amazing. We would definitely stay again & recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Moosehead Lake.

This place was absolutely stunning! The house was super cozy and had everything we could possibly need. And the yard? It was huge! We had a blast exploring it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
