If you are fond of mountains and hiking, there are great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, where you can enjoy the view of Nordmøre fjord landscape or try your fishing luck. Jenstad is the starting point for trips to Åmotan where 4 rivers meet with 3 amazing waterfalls. You live 5-10 minutes walk from the canyon where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow shows up in sunny days. You live on the farm Jenstad with historic buildings from the 1700s where the story can be read in every log both inside and out. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a carrying kites that are about 170 cm between hallway and living room.

We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the edge of the courtyard in the courtyard is a single-family home from 1979. The house is family friendly and has great views. It has 5 bedrooms and its own common room. With nature reserves and national parks all around us, it is a good starting point to spend your holiday here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a seter valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and wildlife. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycle route.

On sunny days you’ll enjoy an amazing sunset from the igloo, go to sleep in duck down duvets with Egyptian cotton, and sleep under the «open sky». Wake up to birds singing, take a morning trip on the ocean in the sit-on-top kayak or SUP-boards (included in your stay). Ångardsvatnet ca 150 meter unna, perfekt for bading, fiske, båt osv. Stabburet er et utmerket utgangspunkt for turer i Trollheimen, sommer og vinter. Oppkjørte langrennsløyper ca 50 meter fra døra.
