“Our hosts were lovely and very helpful. The place was great with everything we needed and very comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the centre of the town. We had breakfast in the cafe downstairs which was really nice. The room was fairly small, but absolutely fine for us. The glasses and cups provided were a bit dirty but everything else was great. Definitely recommend.”
Barn Annexe is a contemporary, bright and spacious, open-plan studio style accommodation for 2 guests. Located on the main road into Moreton-in-Marsh, the annexe is just a 2 to 3 mins walk to the town's pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.
“The barn annexe is a perfect base for a trip to the Cotswolds. The location is really handy for the town and train station and lots of great walking routes - we enjoyed walks up to Blockley via Batsford and down to Bourton on the Water. The annexe itself is really cosy and really well equipped with thoughtful touches like breakfast, the gas fire and bath salts. Maureen was a lovely host and very kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the station. The one thing I would say is that the annexe is on quite a busy road but luckily this didn’t bother us. Overall a wonderful stay.”
Luxurious space with en-suite bathroom and own private entrance in a beautifully converted property on an equestrian stud farm. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds in a tranquil rural location with outstanding views close to Chipping Campden, Broadway, Stratford Upon Avon, and Stow on the Wold and at the same time close to several local business areas including Warwick, Oxford and Birmingham making it ideal for those wanting to get away from it all or a place to stay while away with work.
“My husband and I were looking for a hassle free and rural escape having been trapped in our London flat for months of lockdown! Jenny’s Place was just IDEAL for our needs. The location is stunning: there are views of rolling hills, the horses on the stud and at night you really notice the lack of light pollution as you can see the stars! We used the flat as a base to drive to different walking trails each day and Jenny recommended excellent places to eat each evening- we particularly recommend The Howard Arms and The Old Butchers. The flat itself is very stylishly done with beautiful views of the well kept and floral garden and then the countryside beyond. We appreciated the small touches like providing milk, cereals, tea and fresh coffee. Just a note to those coming- bring shampoo and a hair dryer as these weren’t provided. Jenny was very quick to respond and left us to it whilst we were there whilst being very friendly when we crossed paths. Excited to visit again and will recommend to friends and family. Many thanks!”
