Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mount Vernon

Our family loved this spot! The house is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. My kids all loved the basement which had a great assortment of games, toys and books. We visited for a weekend and went snowtubing at Mountain Creek (only about 12 minutes away). We also really enjoyed nearby Warwick, NY where we found nice shops and restaurants. It was a great stay - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful winter weekend stay here with our toddler. The hosts left out toys that were perfect for our kiddo and kept her entertained all weekend. The space is comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. We would definitely come back again, winter or summer!

Exactly what my family needed for a quiet getaway from the city. The huge yard and quiet surroundings were a blessing. Made friends with the woodpecker while enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio :) The house is well equipped and kept immaculate. the weather helped in allowing us to both enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, while also enjoying the hammocks. We loved our stay so much that we extended our stay by three days. Susan is a great host and is very thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend this home to anyone ! Looking forward to coming back.,

Perfect host with a cute house in a super convenient location. The house is old (has floor vents) but is well kept. Bed furnishings and bathroom accessories were nice. Dog-friendly! Even had a water bowl for a dog, though we brought our own. Access to YouTube TV was already set up on the TV. Host was super responsive and accommodating about everything. We hope to stay here again! Just a heads up -- this is not a good house if you have mobility issues, as there are steps to the front door and the floors are at slightly different levels between rooms, so there is a lip between some rooms.

We loved our stay in Calum's Airbnb! It is a short commute from NYC and conveniently located between two main areas with plenty of grocery store and restaurant options. The home itself is well equipped with an amazing kitchen and many board games - so we were always entertained.

Perfect condo for a weekend getaway, we had 6 people - 4 adults & 2 kids, so 2 per bed. Vanessa has lots of extras like coffee, filters, creamers, teas, dishwasher pods. It was exactly as described and very clean and welcoming. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. Love the wraparound porch and appreciated the extra blankets by the couches to snuggle up. We would definitely rent this place again, it was exactly what we wanted.

It was a pleasure to stay at this residence. The hosts were very communicative and the house was comfortable. We had enough space for our retreat for 5 people.

The apartment of Sal is very comfortable! with all the services really impeccable! very close to the bus stop that in 20 minutes of comfortable travel leaves you in downtown New York, great location to move and tour the city, you have markets and restaurants a few meters from the apartment which is very practical! Very communicative, always attentive to any request, a real super anfritrion! without a doubt to recommend and stay again!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Served our needs perfectly. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower. Small kitchen, but had everything we needed. I requested a replacement pan for cooking eggs and Candice had a nice one shipped overnight from Amazon. Quiet safe neighborhood with a nice park nearby. Good experience all around.

The place was just as listed!. Parking garage was great, elevator directly to the room, room was clean, overall very easy process and great communication. Can’t ask for much more! Great stay.

The apartment was very nice and fully equipped for our stay. The Path station to NYC was 5 minutes away by walking and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The staff was always nice and available, really appreciated the reception 24/7. The residence was really wonderful and there was plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

Eva is a wonderful host. Her house is large and beautiful, with wonderful views over a park like property. The bedrooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is impeccable and very modern. Her breakfasts are legendary: I mentioned that I liked eggs and yoghurt and berries for breakfast and got the most elaborate and tasty meal possible! Eva is a lovely person who makes you feel welcome and appreciated. I had a very pleasant stay, and will certainly return.

We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.

Lovely place with a great view! We enjoyed our stay and the host was always pleasant and helpful.

It is a simple but clean home. We love the dining area in the kitchen, especially with the morning sunshine. The coffee machine is handy for a refreshing day. The host is very kind and works hard in the backyard, which is a neat place with cherry blossom and tall trees. We also had a nice evening chatting with the host and enjoyed a bottle of Bordeaux wine. It would be our choice of stay if we would comeback to the area again.

Outstanding stay. Property is very well located, equipped, landscaped, maintained, and furnished.

It was a great place for 8 of us to stay and enjoy an upstate weekend. An easy drive from NYC and easy access to many attractions. Kitchen is well equipped and fully functional. Ricky was very responsive. Overall I would stay here again.
