The 'Sehr Altes Haus' is a unique space for you to experience a relaxing place with history. It is located in a triangle of three cities: one hour driving from Frankfurt, 50 minutes from Fulda and 22 minutes from Alsfeld. The house dates from 1545; it has been rebuilt as a family project since more than 15 years ago. Now it is ready for opening its doors for those loving the old rural German architecture. A big wood stove is the only heating. We are sure you will enjoy your experience!

The house is cold in winter (we were there over New Years Eve) because it is not well insulated. Zandra informed us in advance so that we could prepare for it.
