The manor house offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups up to 12 adults up to 12 adults. 16 people can be accommodated in 5 double beds and on good mattresses. The 'Sehr Altes Haus' is a unique place to experience a relaxing place with history. It is located in a triangle of three cities: one hour from Frankfurt, 50 min. from Fulda, and 22 min. from Alsfeld. The house dates from 1545 and has been rebuilt as a family project. Now, it is ready to open its doors. All natural materials bring "life": pls. have an understanding. The wood and kitchen stoves are the only heating sources. During the cold season, it's warm only near the stove. Enjoy your stay!

You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

A charging station for electric cars (11kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The overnight price includes final cleaning.
