A spacious house, secluded and private, it was originally built by my grandparents as a holiday home in the 1950s, now successfully renovated for the 21st century!

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

200 year old coastguard cottage - amazing coastal views with seaview outdoor hot tub in summer. The beach is less than two minutes walk. Idyllic, remote setting - 10 mins drive to Ardmore, 15 to Youghal. Recent high end renovation and extension. We have young kids so the house is set up to be totally family friendly with everything for families and child safety. Equipment is mostly stored and so the cottage is suitable for letting without kids.

Stunning beach house with direct access to an incredible secluded cove. The Boatstrand Beachhouse is our much loved home from home. It is ideal for families and friends sharing alike. We have enjoyed special Christmas gatherings and spent long summer holidays enjoying the spectacular beaches in the area including the one at the bottom of the garden!
