Simply being – in and with nature The Moarhube vacation home is located in a secluded location at over 1,000 m above sea level with beautiful views of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park. In the back there are forests and in front of them beautifully flowering meadows. Here nature has the say, invites us to immerse ourselves in its rhythm, to arrive and to find peace. Winter is particularly enchanting - the sunny location and the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove create a romantic atmosphere.

The chalet, built in 2018, is located on a sunny slope in the top row of the Almdorf with the best panoramic view, 1,300 metres above sea level and only a stone's throw from the ski lift (about 300 m) and the visible ski slope. The solid wood construction and prime location of the chalet offer a cozy, relaxing, and, in short, healthy atmosphere. - Design follows function - Modernity meets tradition - The property leaves little to be desired for enjoying the most beautiful time of the year.

Almhütte Vesely Svist Lachtal

The new comfortable wooden Veselý Svišť (Cheerful Marmot) Chalet is situated in the middle of the Lachtal ski resort in Styria directly at the 1a ski slope. The chalet can offer accommodation for 2 families or a group of up to 8 friends. On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen with a terrace & barbecue, a bathroom and a living area with the wood burning stove. Upstairs there are two 4-bed rooms, a balcony and another bathroom.

We wish you relaxing days in our chalet. In summer, you can start hiking and biking directly from the chalet. In winter, you can strap on your skis or snowboards directly and hit the slopes in the Hohentauern ski resort. We acquired the chalet in October 2023 and will gradually modernize it. We started with the large terrace outside. Our outdoor sauna, built in November 2024, is of course also available to you.

Welcome to the luxurious and romantic "Hirsch" cabin in the picturesque Lachtal, located directly at the slopes. The chalet was just completed a few years ago. Up to 10 guests will be able to enjoy the highest comfort and luxurious amenities, including sauna, hot tub, fast internet and Netflix tv. The cabin is located 1700 metres above sea level and therefore ideal for winter and summer.

Bad weather? You are just chilling in the outdoor jacuzzi and look from there directly on the ski slope opposite. Until the snow clouds clear in Hohentauern and you enjoy a snowshoe hike through the Upper Styrian mountains. The Chalet is particularly spacious with 140 m² and can accommodate up to 8 people. (Up to 7 adults & 1 child due to a bunk bed with sloping roof).
