Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Klein Pakhuis Farm is both a Cederberg Karoo farm and a nature conservancy. It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area. The farm is blessed with pure natural spring water; blue-sky days; clear starry nights and utter silence. Varied wildlife thrives under the conservancy ethos of the farm, including Verreaux's Eagle, Rheebok, Grysbok, Aardvark, Caracal, and the elusive Cape Leopard.

Nina’s House at Buffelspad

Nina's house is one of two cottages on the Buffelspad private nature reserve. The property borders the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve and is located at an altitude of 850m. The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. There are approximately 10km of breathtaking walking trails traversing the Middleberg mountains. A stay at Nina's House is the perfect antidote for stress and a chance to reconnect with nature.

Klipkop High Mountain Stone Cottage

The farm's fourth cottage is built of rock between two boulders. The interior is very comfortably furnished with ceder-clad walls and ceder floors, two comfortable 3/4 beds, a fireplace, kitchenette and a bathroom clad in rock with sliding doors opening onto the landscape. The cottage faces north with a view of Sneeuberg. There is a large sliding door opening onto the patio with a retractable awning and a braai to enjoy the extraordinary views in every direction.

This remotely situated Namaqualand cottage is situated 40km from Calvinia on a dirt road and offers an exclusive getaway destination for nature lovers. Nestled on a farm in the Hantam Mountains this cottage offers walking trails, open skies for stargazing, tranquility, lapa evening fires and a flower wonderland between August and October every year. Daisy Cottage is a typical cottage with a private stoep overlooking a garden with big trees, aloes, geraniums and bougainvilleas. The cottage has a thatched roof and green shutters. There are terracotta tiles on the floor of the living room-cum-kitchen. There are two bathrooms with showers. Guests especially enjoy watching birds from the private stoep.
