Der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig, außer der Kirche, die sehr nahe ist, nur zwei Häuser entfernt, und die Glocken alle 15 Minuten läuten, auch nachts, wie in vielen kleinen Dörfern in unserer Region. The apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet residential area with forest views, just 25 minutes (19 km) from Heidelberg. Due to the southwestern location, the apartment is very sunny. Schönau is an old monastery town with a monastery complex and chicken farm on the edge of the Odenwald. Hiking trails to the Neckar Valley and the Odenwald start not far from the apartment.
