Our guest apartment is located in Hemmendorf in a quiet location on the outskirts. Please do not smoke on the property! There are numerous recreational facilities in the area. In the neighbouring village of Salzhemmendorf, the Ith-Sole-Therme, a wellness bath with a large sauna area, is located. There are a variety of shopping opportunities for everyday needs, several doctors and pharmacies, a hairdresser, a gas station, an indoor swimming pool and a riding facility. There is also a baker directly in Hemmendorf.

You will stay in a house in a listed half-timbered ensemble from 1774 in the immediate vicinity of Detmold, equipped with antiques, a cinema hall, and a gazebo with unobstructed views of the Teutoburg Forest. A lockable wooden cabin can be used as a bicycle shelter.

My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.
