You are staying rural, but at the same time centrally located. A short drive from the apartment will take you to Eidsvoll station. From here there are 3/4 trains per hour that take you to Oslo airport in 9 min. and to Oslo S in 34 min.

A few days here, you are like new - away from all the hustle and bustle. Gamle Hvam is next door, which is an old big farm that has now become a museum and worth a visit. There are several hiking trails in the area, so nice opportunity for activity and walks. Closest shops are Neskollen, Vormsund and in Årnes Sentrum.

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

The house is in the countryside, still shopping less than 15 minutes away in several directions by car. If you do not drive by car, there is a busstop 15 minutes walk away. Bus runs 2x per hour to Jessheim/Årnes/airport. Supermarket is walking distance. Private entrance, and also a private area of the lot for your disposal.

Welcome to Fjellstua in Nes municipality - a charming cottage from 1927, located high and free and in the immediate vicinity of nature. The property is about 6 km from Årnes city centre, where you will find a train station and most service offerings. Right outside the door you will find a large forest area (approx. 10 km²) with both marked and unmarked hiking trails. Here you can pick blueberries, cranberries and chanterelles in season – and we have left berry pickers for free use.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This is our private residence, so private items in drawers and cupboards are of course present. All the equipment you can expect to find in a home is in place, and we are constantly working to make the home better. Therefore, there will occasionally be traces of ongoing work, but nothing that will affect your stay.
