Chevroux is a popular resort in the canton of Vaud in the French-speaking part of Switzerland with a campsite and around 100 weekend and holiday cottages near the lake. It has a marina with over 1000 berths. The apartment on the first floor of a vacation chalet with a large garden was completely renovated in 2020 and is located right on the edge of the nature reserve "La Grande Cariçaie." Lake Neuchâtel is easily accessible on foot in 8 minutes and by bike in 5 minutes.

Close to the Creux-du-Van or Gorges de l'Areuse, and just 900 m from the train station, it features a private entrance, a terrace, a parking spot, as well as a TV, internet, and all essentials for cooking and toiletries. A perfect little nest to explore the region!

Welcome to the Building

The apartment is located in an old 18th century farmhouse, located in the countryside 300 meters from the village of Renan(800 inhabitants). A cantonal road takes you to the capital (Bern) in 60 minutes, Zürich and Geneva in 2 hours. Access is also possible by public transport via Renan train station. This region is particularly suitable for hiking or horseback riding , the Franches-Montagnes, the Chasseral Natural Park and the nearby wind farm.

At the rippling fountain and hidden in the former farmhouse from 1878 is our lovingly furnished apartment overlooking the barn, the fountain and the horse stable. There are three individually designed common areas available. A sauna can also be used after (10 per sauna session).
