Dear guests, Our apartment in Altschönau (730 m) is located in the middle of the beautiful Bavarian Forest National Park. Forest. Also large towns can be reached in 10 - 15 minutes. It is a cozy top-floor apartment (100 m²) with 3 bedrooms, living room and separate kitchen with fully equipped fitted kitchen and dining area. There are 2 bathrooms. The apartment has balconies. In the heart of the old town – and at the same time a bright, open retreat above the rooftops. While life is bustling below, you can enjoy the loft-like apartment upstairs, with light, space and a view of the greenery. Cafes, restaurants and beer gardens are in the immediate vicinity. The bakery is in the building. The Danube, promenade and boat dock are just a few steps away. Convenient arrival: Flexible check-in, key box. You can stop briefly to unload directly in front of the building. Parking in the nearby area.

Pure nature - Haus im Wald am Biberdamm

In the house in the forest, absolute tranquility awaits you surrounded by nature. You have your own vacation home in a secluded location without neighbors. There is a terrace overlooking the large fenced garden and the adjacent Bibersee. Many animals can be observed: beavers, otters, ducks, herons, rabbits and deer. If you are looking for relaxation from everyday life, this is the place to be. Heating is provided by 2 wood stoves. If you want, you can also chop wood. Walks in the adjacent forest are balm for the soul.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Extended tours are just as possible as Nordic walking, snowshoeing in winter, or easy walks. Look for mushrooms in the fall and enjoy the snow in the winter. Cross-country ski trails are on site when there is sufficient snow.
