“We enjoyed our stay at Nonnie and Poppies! It was quiet and relaxing. We love to travel and always take our dogs with us. The next time we visit Stockton we will plan a longer trip and will stay at Nonnie and Poppies again!”

“I am so happy that we finally have a good place to stay near Nevada that isn't a hotel. I graduated from Cottey in Nevada and come back to hang out time to time and was surprised to find this place, which is really a gem just outside of Nevada on Highway BB. The listing is nearly 100% accurate and I walked into just what I expected: a beautiful, clean and superbly updated cabin. The owners have really taken the challenge of providing a vacation rental to the next level and I am impressed. For city dwellers, this is just the place you need. It is secluded, quiet, and outside of town. If you come from a rural community like I do, the traffic on BB gets to be a lot and the fact that you have a lot of neighbors peering in on your outdoor activities from one side and occasionally driving in "your part" of the driveway can kind of make it seem like less of a retreat than you thought. However, this place is worth the price and is a wonderful addition to the options we have for staying in or near Nevada. Thanks Evolve and Wes for providing something different and wonderful in this little community.”
Newly remodeled, 110 yr old farm house and cattle ranch on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest off historic Route 66 Highway. We welcome those who can stay just one night or those who want to stay longer. Hike in our woods, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire, or just sit on the porch and relax! We have an Activity Barn with all sorts of outdoor gear/toys. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and we are close to the historic town of Carthage where there are several great restaurants.
“My son and I came to stay at the farm for five days to visit my parents in Southwest Missouri. I am from the area and I absolutely loved staying here and plan to return. The restored farmhouse is lovely. The property is remote and peaceful. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting Harlan and Theresa, and all of their well loved and cared for farm animals! The one thing I would mention to other travelers (because I don’t want it to be booked 365 days a year since then I can’t use it) is that the one bathroom is downstairs from 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the staircase may not be suitable for some mobility restricted people. We loved everything about our stay. 5 star plus!”
