Vacation rentals with lake access in New Kent County

Gloria was an amazing host and her home was outstanding! Beautiful home, even better views, many activities to do, close proximity to stores, private and quite, except for a rooster that was roaming the property (which we thought was cool to see). All my kids did was play outside the entire trip, not one iPad was watched. We will be back for sure!

Great Deal for anyone looking for a spacious and quiet spot only a mere 20 minutes from downtown Richmond! Highly recommend.

Charles place is beautiful and the river view is amazing. Charles was very kind and very responsive. Beds were comfy and kitchen stocked. Plenty of room to be fellowship and have privacy when needed. Decor is nice and makes you feel welcomed & right at home. Charles place is great for a relaxing waterfront stay in VA, can’t wait to return for our next river stay.

Had a lovely few days here in early December, snug as a bug despite the rather chilly temperatures. It's a lovely view of the lake and just a few steps away, was a bit cold to do any water activity but in warmer weather would just be ideal. The internet was rock solid and lots of the usual kitchen facilities were there, not that we used most of them. Would 100% return when next back in the area. There is a knack to opening/closing the front door, you just need to pull it towards you about 1mm before pressing the lock button when arriving or leaving.

Matt and Erin did a wonderful job with their lovely home. Very clean and serene. We loved the surroundings, being inside a park was pretty cool! It was nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside. The only advice I have is don’t forget to bring your own seasonings if you love to cook. Otherwise, we loved the space and felt right at home!

This is such a unique property! It was perfect for our family. We knew the weather was going to be cold and rainy for ~half our visit, but Jessica’s house did not disappoint. There is so much to do, which resulted in priceless family time. When the weather cleared, we fully enjoyed the outside amenities. The pickleball court, sauna, and hot tub were big hits. Jessica is a great communicator and enabled a memorable Spring Break for our kids.

Beautiful and comfortable house and property. Was nice to have a little section of beach and a park setting with a playground just across the driveway. We didn't spend too much time outside being it was quite cold and windy during our stay, but the electric fireplace and the expansive view of the river from the living sofa was very relaxing. The inside of the house is clean and well furnished. The only downside (which wasn't really a big issue) is the shower curtain in the master bathroom keeps falling down. It was down when we got there, so we tried just putting it back up, but it wouldn't stay. We just all used the other shower, so no real issue. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Very quiet and friendly little community.

This property and location is amazing. The house is huge with every amenity you can think of. It was a perfect location for a work weekend. No WiFi problems at all. I would recommend to anyone considering staying here. Worth EVERY penny.

The place was better than we even imaged! We had such a wonderful vacation. So much space and in an excellent location. Everyone was very helpful and check in was easy. Thank you!

Calandra’s home was just as described, very clean, and smelled amazing. We had no issues with checking in and appreciated the available linens and kitchenware. We loved waking up seeing the sunrise against the water right behind the house. If there’s one thing I would recommend, it would be a bathroom fixture upgrade. Otherwise, the home is absolutely amazing and we would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Richmond, VA! The home was perfect for our trip to the Jefferson Cup—spacious, comfortable, and ideally located 13 min from soccer fields. It had everything we needed to relax after long days at the soccer fields. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view! Waking up to peaceful water views. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and had thoughtful touches that made our stay feel welcoming. The host was responsive and helpful, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and a great experience overall. If you’re traveling for a tournament or just visiting Richmond, this is the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend!

The perfect spot for our Winter getaway. A beautiful setting and a well preserved colonial era cabin, perfect for exploring such an historic part of our Country. Quaint local restaurants, friendly people and a country setting handy to the lower tidewater Virginia. The icing on the cake was the fireplace for cozy evenings reading a good book. The house was nicely updated, and the back deck was very relaxing after our day of bike riding. Also the host was very responsive to our requests

The cottage was as described and then some! The pictures showed a good sample of the property. The host was very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. There was a binder inside with recommendations for sights and places to see. We were able to enjoy the sunset off the pier while swimming in the water. The natural beauty and tranquility of the land made the stay so worthwhile.

Richard was absolutely amazing and was so quick to respond when our trip changed and we were getting there a little bit earlier! We will definitely be coming back next year! The house stayed cold the beds were very comfortable and watching the sunset at the dock was by far my favorite thing!

This bright and cheery home is idyllic - set back from the road among flowering bushes and trees with a view of the creek from almost every room. We rented this place while we were exploring the area and househunting. We anchored our sailboat in Cobbs Creek and could dinghy right to the dock at this house! Our friends came to visit and were able to keep their fishing boat at the dock. The privacy and natural beauty is equally as wonderful as the immaculate, fully stocked home with all the amenities one could dream of - set up for ease of use-cooking and relaxing. High end appliances/dishwasher/washer dryer/grill on the deck. It was like bringing my home with me on vacation!! Noelle made us feel right at home from the first contact. We explored the water with her kayaks, visiting and photographing the osprey family on red 2! The great blue herons were the only living thing keeping an eye on us our entire stay!

This rental is in a quiet and peaceful location. There is plenty of space inside and the kitchen was surprisingly large with lots of counter space. We spent most of our days on the deck viewing a great bird show with eagles and osprey sightings. Most of the time we did not hear a sound while outside, which was a welcoming change from where we live. If you want peace and quiet in a relaxing environment book a stay!
