Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the screened in porch attached to the cabin. There’s a fire pit right out front with firewood available on premise. Relax and destress.

Empire Sleeping Cabin in Grand Marais, MI provides a cozy, restful & rustic experience for the glamper that enjoys a dry, warm and comfortable experience while surrounded by nature. Cabin has wall heater & a king size pillow top bed. "THE HEATED FULL BATHROOM & HALF BATH IS NOT IN THE CABIN" but is located just steps away from the cabin in the large pole barn, and is stocked with hand towels and toiletries to make your "GLAMPING" experience one to remember. Beautiful 4 bedroom cabin located minutes from downtown Munising and at the doorstep to Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. The cabin is located on a quiet, paved, tree-lined street nestled on 6 serene acres of hardwood forest. We are a short drive to M13 and all of the recreational inland lakes that the area has to offer. Head the other direction and you are a short 15 min drive to Miners Castle/Miners Beach which can be a fantastic launching point to your UP adventure!

North Lake Cottage

The cabin is located on a beautiful spring fed lake (North Manistique Lake) offering clear waters and sandy bottom; perfect for swimming, boating & fishing. The home comes with a large patio, grill and outdoor fire pit. The modernized cabin has huge floor to ceiling windows in the main room featuring the kitchen, living room and fire place. Two bedrooms, mud room, and bathroom are also included. The large 1.5acre yard offers plenty of space for parking & yard games.

Lake retreat on Indian Lake, Manistique MI

This cabin offers a perfect sense of tranquility, where you feel like nature and wildlife are your only neighbors. Forget your worries in this spacious and beautiful space. It has the feel of being alone on the lake, very secluded at the end of Wawaushnosh Drive. Rainey Reserve is just at the end of the road, and Smith Creek is just around the corner, a beautiful serene place to kayak. The kitchen is fully furnished.

Surrounded by Hiawatha State Forest, it offers instant access to ORV trails, 100s of miles of trout streams, and world-class fishing for brook trout, salmon, and steelhead. Just minutes from Cut River Bridge and Garlyn Zoo, this true “Up North” retreat is perfect for outdoor adventure or a peaceful getaway.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
